Not a problem at all for me-- I would prefer to see such important material in it's own thread! But-my thread starting topics are often moved-regardless of a new or important development that I have assessed as a significent read.!! :)
It is also easy to miss worthwhile material buried in the sea of nothing posts by some on the forum that prefer to troll and attempt to trivialise every thread they get near with personal attacks ( usually with no actual facts)-- in some kind of attempt to redirect readership. :deadhorse:

It appears like you just defined your own actions, and tried to derail a thread.  :D

Throughout the crisis in Ukraine, Kremlin has spent countless millions of Russian taxpayer money to impose its narrative of the crisis on the West. Unfortunately, while this task may be failing, Putin’s propaganda effort covering the war in Ukraine finds somewhat unexpected allies, like the British Stop the War coalition.

This is quite a long article-the headings are sumarised below.

Know your refutations: 5 myths that are used to promote Russia’s war in Ukraine

Myth #1: The USA treated post-Soviet Russia as a defeated nation with inferior legitimate rights at home and abroad. NATO expanded into Russia’s traditional zones of national security, while in reality excluding it from Europe’s security system.

Fact #1: Countries joined NATO of their own accord, having reformed their defence spheres drastically in order to match NATO’s harsh criteria.

Myth #2: Ukraine is a country long divided by ethnic, linguistic, religious, cultural, economic and political differences—particularly its western and eastern regions.

Fact #2:  Facing Russian aggression, Ukraine stays united on the most contradictive topics, while it’s ethnical or ideological plurality can be compared to that of other democratic countries’.

Myth #3: The EU association agreement in November 2013 was a reckless provocation compelling the democratically elected president of a deeply divided country to choose between Russia and the West.

Fact #3: The EU association agreement was an expected consequence of the processes that have been going on for decades.

Myth #4: Russia’s annexation of Crimea and the war in Donbas were triggered by the Maidan “coup” against Yanukovych, led by extreme nationalist forces.

Fact #4: Nationalist forces weren’t dominant on Maidan, as well as they didn’t make it to the parliament later. The initial source of violence was Yanukovych giving orders to pacify the protests.

In case some of you have missed it-or still not getting it!!--the Russian disinformation war is ongoing.Another journailst subject to the troll army attacks--

Finnish journalist Jessikka Aro's inquiry into Russian trolls stirs up a hornet's nest
The amount of resources being put into an attempt to bully Aro was remarkable. "Not only money but also people. The purpose: intimidation ... to kill the debate."

RosTV embarrass again. As the Turks massacred the inhabitants of Donbass

One of Russian TV channels on March 11 came the story that the Turks allegedly staged a massacre of residents of Donbass.

Video evening air "NTV" is published on the site of the channel.

In fact, the story came out about the Kurdish town of Cizre. His record was made the crew of the Russian propaganda channel RT. At the same time in the first few seconds of the video presenter announces that the action takes place in the Donbas.

Often discussed here has been the influence of Russian TV in Ukraine. It would be interesting to see comparative numbers from prior to February 2014.
In places-- Russia was actively blocking Ukrainian signals.Only recently has Ukraine been able to widen and strengthen signals in disputed areas.

Russian television not so prevalent in eastern Ukraine, study finds

Less than six percent of residents in unoccupied eastern Ukraine watch programs about politics on Russian television every day, a new study by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology finds.

Though not as many people in eastern Ukraine watch Russian television as expected, the ones that do are particularly susceptible to Russian propaganda, another Kyiv International Institute of Sociology study found in February 2015.

It seems like a good thread title for this link.
Often when I post links to articles that illustrate reform and change in Ukraine I hear that nothing has changed. Some reforms have great potential significance-- this is one of those.
Last year, after years of debate and lobbying on the issue, public broadcasting was established in Ukraine. In a country suffering from a serious crisis of trust in the media, it looked like a chance to regain people’s faith.

Ukraine’s Oligarchs May Own the Media, but Public Broadcasting is Shaking Things Up

Reforming the national channel is only the first step; it’s now time to reform the local state TV broadcasters as well, and this seems to be anything but simple. Local teams understand that their future following the transformations is unclear, and that many of them will lose their jobs or be replaced by younger, more progressive people. Therefore, there is strong resistance to reforms at the local level.
