Aren't the Russians Smart:

1.  Russia gets rid of all NGOs in the country and then Putin issues 9 Million Dollars worth of loan guarantees to subsidize far right political organizations in European Union Countries in a blatant effort to destabilize those countries.

2.  Russia creates a hostile takeover of VKontakte and also controls Odnoklassniki.  It then requires any internet offerings doing business in Russia to have servers located in Russia and Russian access to those servers.  Then it hires 20,000 trolls to reduce the internet to a war zone of paid mercenaries willing to assault any negative press against Putin and the Rodina.

Yup, they're pretty smart.  For awhile.  Then it will all explode.  I can't wait for House of Cards, Season III.   I hear they hired Pussy Riot.
