Inviting relatives to the wedding
« on: August 10, 2015, 05:22:55 AM »
Has anyone filed for a visitors visa in Ukraine before? Is there a specific checklist for visiting?

Thanks!

Ukraine got rid of the visa requirement for American citizens to enter their country years ago. What country are you a citizen of?
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

Rob, you weren't exactly clear but you want Ukrainian relatives to come visit your country? They don't have to apply for a tourist visa "in" Ukraine if you and your fiancée want to assist filling out the form in America. Follow the directions at the site below. If you're living elsewhere, there should be a government site that can give you step by step instructions.

Hey,

I'm in the U.S., Sorry, I shouldn't have assumed everyone lives here.

Yes, the DS-160 is what I need. But I was wondering if there was any recommended forms for evidence of ties to Ukraine, or financial capability to cover the cost of the trip. They need to prove they will not immigrate. What forms did you provide?

I was going to provide a notarized i-184 to go along with it.

Evidence of funds comes from the evidence of a bank account that shows what's in it. Evidence of property is the title. Birth certificates will prove children. These things need to be taken to the interview. First one has to get scheduled for one. The interviewer usually reviews the evidence before calling in the person for an interview. Usually their mind is made up before the interview. Some interviewers are easier than others. The worst interviewer in Kiev had a baby about a year ago or so. Hopefully she's not back on the job. She rejects nearly everybody.
