Hey Communist, where in Upstate NY are you? I ask because there are some New Yorkers that think Yonkers is Upstate NY.  ;)

My wife asked me to shave...so I did, no biggie. But the thought of a sharp object going over the tea bag kinda scares me...but I did

Don't have a strong opinion one way or the other.  I was only asked about it once.  MY comment was "When you get a new set of boobs, I will consider shaving my armpits or anything else you want".  Her response was "No way".  It was meant in jest.  It really is not that important.  I might surprise her one day and shave to see what her response is.

Once you are married for a couple years you learn how to tease each other without it blowing up into something serious.  As I age and become more tolerant, I learned to not make an issue of anything that is not worth falling on my sword over.  She will win this issue, but by the same token she will have a little seed implanted about my fantasies as well.

I have found the most wonderful woman I have ever met in my life. I am not about to screw it up over any trivial matter that she feels is important to her.  By the same token, I am not about to let her turn me into a robot either.   Single life was not that bad prior to taking on the responsibilities of a new wife with child.

The one large difference I see between my wife and local women, is that she thinks about our discussions, and within 24 hours she either sees it my way, or has a rational argument to try to influence my point of view. It does not get much better than this!

My worse experience with former wive(s), is when a discussion ends in "Just Because" rather than a rational thought process.  I have to give her credit for engaging 'critical thinking' in her analysis of issues rather than illogical positions.

I hope others in a similar situation do not dig their heels in and mess up what would otherwise be the dream that they had when they pursued a FSUW for a lifetime partner.
