Problems in Kyiv

I was above Miadan today....Protesters were storming the government building...again... Shots were fired people were killed and many injured... There has been a few of these lately The stability seems to be getting worse...

Interesting.  I was in Kyiv this summer, and I told someone here that I sensed a real underlying tension that could explode at any time.
After the fall of communism, the biggest mistake Boris Yeltsin's regime made was not to disband the KGB altogether. Instead it changed its name to the FSB and, to many observers, morphed into a gangster organisation, eventually headed by master criminal Vladimir Putin. - Gerard Batten

I just missed the excitement.
So many factions around that don't see eye to eye and violence seems to be the end all. :(
