If you asked a mod could probably do it for you, the slowest/laziest one here
could do it in 5 minutes. (I could do it in less than 2 minutes)

Tag,
Thanks for sharing!
Very nice TR, congrats and best wishes to you both going forward.

My wife and I really enjoyed DR, as one of the places we visited during the phase of getting to know each other better.

To Jumper and everyone else again thanks a lot for all the well wishes. This forum has been one of my support systems throughout this journey.  We all know it's not an easy one.

Slight update for everyone keeping track of this saga, instead of going to the Dominican Republic, we decided it would be best if we spent more time together in Zaporizhia.  We could have spent a week together in the D.R. or I could spend two weeks in Ukraine. It was a no-brainer.  I know we would have had a great time in the D.R., but I also know visiting Zap, for a second time will be even better than before.

I'm debating on if I should do another TR. I'll document my stay as much as I can and figure it out when I get back.  I leave tomorrow June 11th and return June 26th.

A very wise choice Tag, the more time you spend with her and her family, the better and closer your relationship will be.

Hi Tag. I have just read Your TR and it's very well written and also enjoyed looking at the fine photos. It's a very good idea to go back to her Place and not anywhere else at this stage. I wish you aonother great stay in Ukraine.

PS. Like FP I also wondered why you didn't mention that you are also a police officer, at the checkpoints. I would imagine that having a positive impact as to avoid any problems, even if you did alright on the first trip.

My good friend who is a policeman in Russia had one day of patrol here in Chicago with the local guys. Another time he was stopped while driving and when showed police all his Russian ID.s they just smiled and said "move on". Too much trouble.

Another time my friend was on patrol in Siberia and stopped a car. The driver said he was sorry but he could speak only English. My friend said fine because he did also. Man was hugely surprised and said "how did you learn English here in Siberia ?". He replied that he had learned the previous weekend.

Truth is he studied it through college and 5 tourist visits to America.
