Came here by accident, because I was looking for the documentary called "Love me". I read many of the posts in different threads of the forum.

I was in Russia several times, I had a girlfriend from Nizhnekamsk and now I have another girlfriend in Russia too. My experience is completely different of many of the people who wrote here. I used a dating site once, but I saw that many of the women who are using those kind of services look for a prince charming, but in fact they don't know what are they looking for.

As far as I can see, nobody talk about VK or Odnoklassniki to meet people from the former soviet union countries, in fact, you can find more normal women there or you can make many new friends in those places.

Welcome to the forum jcpescador. There have been talk about using VK here. Of course if a guy contacted a lot of FSU women on that site living in other countries, many aren't willing to relocate so a guy would have to put some work in to find the ladies that are willing to relocate. I'm not sure the girls on VK are any more normal than the girls on international dating sites. You may have used sites that have their employees write letters on the ladies behalf.

In my experience contacting many women women who use VK and are not married, if they find a good husband they are willing to go to any place.

You may know that the social pressure to be married before they grow older than 30's is very strong in those places. Many of them married very young and they look very suspicious that a woman is not married young.

It's easy to assume every woman looking for a foreign man for marriage as having insincere intentions. This is the stereotype society holds of the ladies in this endeavor. The men(us) are labeled as losers. Some ladies are looking for a visa mule and are gold diggers but I believe most are looking for love. Also, there's nothing wrong with people bettering their lives. You want better. They want better. There is something wrong with people who are content with living in less than desirable conditions.

They are also suspicious of any man who hasn't been married before the age of 30 too. This has been discussed here. We've had men over forty on this forum never been married. Women, who they communicated with, tend to think something is wrong with them. Maybe they are playboys with no intention to marry or no woman wants them.
