Maryia Vviadzenskaya, 28, who goes by Masha, was stopped by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers on April 16 while preparing to board a flight from Puerto Rico to Hawaii, where she resides with her U.S. citizen husband, Spencer Ricciardello.

it's been almost 20 years since my wife became a citizen, and my memory is kinda "fuzzy" from all the drugs...
but...
I kinda remember my wife NOT being allowed to travel outside the USA while she just had a green card
I would assume, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands would be OK
so I don't understand her arrest

Yes this is what I remember as well but I guess she (they) thought that going from Hawaii to Puerto Rico isn't foreign travel?
