RWD Beauty Pageant Still Underway . . .

For those who may have missed the initial announcement, more than a dozen FSU beauties are in a heated competition to be crowned as the RWD Beauty Queen winner. The current standings, with a week left in the polling looks like this:

* Oxana Fedorova, former Miss Universe, has now taken the slimmest of leads after falling behind in the early polling.
* Olga Kurbotova, of Playboy fame, continues her strong showing and is tied for second place.
* Rallying from an early falter, Anna Kournikova is now tied for second place with Kurbotova.
* Karolina Kurkova, the supermodel with the enormous smile, has dropped her early lead and is now tied for third.
* Alina Kabaeva was a late entrant into the competition and has mounted a startling rally to tie Kurkova for third place. No doubt it has something to do with her "bendy chick" status.
* Still surprising to me is that famous supermodel Daniela Pestova has not garnered a single vote.

With one week remaining in the competition, perhaps we will see yet another rally or falter along the way. What is undisputable is that ANY of these women are worthy winners.
