Transformation to a Prostitute

I had a friend who was fond of saying, "I raise my daughters until they're 18.  After that age, I have no control over them."  But I had a tough time understanding how a woman, fresh out of school, all of a sudden becomes a prostitute.  I used to think that they were all somewhat older but in the past I have watched the evolution of one such woman and the decisions she made.  After a fashion, it became evident that becoming a call girl was one step in her evolution and provides her the type of income for the life she wants to live.

At the age of 17, our gal, we'll call her Layla, was a regular school girl. She's from Dnepropetrovsk. She was very involved in her school and went on a couple of outings that show up in her Facebook accounts.  One of them appears to be a public service trip.  She is tall, lanky, no boobs but long legs.  She has bottle brush eyebrows and a somewhat largish nose.  Looking at her reminds me of the before pictures of Anne Hathaway in the Princess Diaries.

She completes her schooling.  I could not tell if she was 17 or 18 when she finished.  But soon after she found a 'sponsor' of a guy.  He paid to have her breasts enhanced.  Instead of the child like school girl, we see a dramatic transformation in the space of one year.  She now has an incredible figure, augmented by silicon boobs, but an incredibly young face.  Her eyebrows have been plucked and shaped and her prominent nose only serves to highlight her beauty.  She now advertises on high end travel sites, looking for men to pay for her trips to their cities.  Long gone are the blue jeans and pull over shirts.  Her pictures are all of her enjoying high end fashion and destination vacations.  She is (she claims) at home on the French Riviera. 

Her Facebook profile grows.  Her friends now include 50% obviously wealthy men, but also a number of confirmed lesbians.   After two years, we see that she is now in a relationship with another woman, and that they advertise their services together.  Her pictures include a flat in Italy, which she now calls home.  In her posts, she claims she purchased the flat herself (with the help of a friend).  She lives with her girlfriend, but is now married to a guy who delivers her permanent residency in the West.  The guy is in his 50's.

I cannot believe that the gal spends much time with her new Husband as he does not appear in any of the destinations she displays in her travels.  Instead she parades in the latest fashion, around yachts, parties, beaches and nightclubs. 

She has anglicized her name, away from the name her parents gave her.  Even her last name is changed.  Before I wrote this, today, I looked her up.  It says that she is willing to spend the night with any properly turned out man who wishes to pay her a thousand Euros a night.  She claims to speak English, French and Italian.  Nothing about Ukrainian or Russian.  She is 22.

Never met her.  Our paths crossed when she was young, five years ago, and I became her Facebook friend.  Needless to say, her Facebook profile no longer includes the pictures from when she was in still in school.  Quite honestly, I see her as someone who has totally lost her way. 

My guess is that ten years from now she'll marry again to someone who can directly provide the type of life she wants and she will waste through the years and if she has children be a terrible example for them to follow.  I'm pretty sure that her current marriage won't survive her successful receipt of a passport/citizenship.

Before I wrote the above post, I went on FB and looked at her recent pictures.  Most were with her current girlfriend.  She has aged, terribly, around the eyes.  Perhaps it is just the cynicism that I discern.

This is nothing new.  Have you been to Monaco?  Tons of Russian girls there doing the world's oldest profession.  And blatantly offering their services.
They hang in the high end hotels and in the main tourist areas like outside the casino.  I've been there, saw it with my own eyes.

I've seen plenty of FB accounts of similar girls. Parading around in Ferraris dressed to the hilt with a guy 20 years older.  No need to post links for their privacy sake.
