Introducing Myself Too

Hi everyone.

This is my first post to this board.  I ama 42 year old guy living in Norterhn California.

I have already made one trip to Ukraine last year, pretty much on a whim after discovering that my great grandparents actually came from Ukraine.  I had been trying to trace them for 20 years, finally found the answers, became interested in Ukraine not so much for a wife but as a travel destination in search of my roots, discovered the amazing ladies and have now set out on a mission to find my true love.

I am sure this forum is going to help prevent mistakes.

I look forward to offering some good participation and asking thoguhtful questions.

Welcome Eric....nice twist that your family orignated from Ukraine, i have no family from FSU as far as i am aware,but after looking into the whole FSU experince i discovered that my Uncle Mike, yes my name sake..had been to Russia as a young man during the prestrokia years when you could barter with a pair of Levis..........i dont think he was looking for love... but he is dead now and its nice that we were both independent spirits and now have even more in common............sorry i went off on a tangent there

Congratulations on finding your heritage.  In doing my genealogy, I found that I  had Ukranian  ancestory.  I was surprised.   I hope that you find your future wife in this country
