Olga Dating in Kyiv
« on: September 18, 2022, 07:51:23 PM »
Fellow adventurers, what do we know about OlgaDating.Com in Kyiv?

They have some real looking women with reasonable age ranges, but no info on their actual service/rates. You have to sign up using their intake questionnaire to get any further.

I have tried to search for any feedback here, but can’t find them. As search terms, “Olga” and “Dating”are too popular on this site to have any luck. 😂

Thanks in advance.

Apparently as they say they're a marriage agency so they are going to want to get paid at some point as of course they are not doing it for free. They have a contact form so you could contact them and ask how much and when. The site mentions a three hour flight so looks like they are aiming it at UK/EU countries perhaps. At the moment of course there are no domestic flights into Ukraine. As you say the profiles look natural enough, either pro or semi pro photos of everyday to good looking women. I wouldn't necessarily place a lit of stock in that though over time as discussed recently here scam agencies evolve as they learn and get better at their trade if scamming as we do. Western guts learn about the overly processed model looking photos so avoid so scam agencies learn and go for a more natural looking approach.

Not saying the agency is a scam they seem fairly down to earth but you can never really tell until involved often. In reality anyone can stick up a website these days it's not that hard it can be done from someone's bedroom. Not saying there is no go in this agency but as Krim says if you play in someone else's pool then they can play with you as they please. Unless you are lucky and they are decent all sorts of tricks can occur, for example they may not have those women on there books as they say they do just a few girls who will meet you and receive a back hander from the agency for doing so, their mates or whatever. So & so suddenly becomes unavailable or only a few girls want to meet, etc, etc.

That said some guys have met women through agencies successfully so I'm not saying it's all a joke but as they say you pay your money and take your chances. If they are up to any games you'll likely find out at some point not that you'll be able to do much about it most likely just learn and move on. So it's really whether you wish to take the chance, for some guys who are wealthy the outlay is not a big deal and they don't mind giving it a punt. It can avoid being in with and competing with the masses on Fdate so they just do the rounds of marriage agencies till they find one that works. So really down to you but would be interested to hear what you find out.

Thanks, Trench.

Thank you for catching that three hour flight comment. A European target audience makes sense.

Certainly no one is flying into the country from Europe now, but domestic tourism may be on the rise again in Kyiv

http://www.hindustantimes.com/lifestyle/travel/kyiv-almost-back-to-normal-as-domestic-tourists-return-101662804553910-amp.html

and one company is selling tours to see the aftermath of the war in the less active areas

http://www.businessinsider.com/travel-company-advertises-ukraine-tours-tourists-war-zone-2022-8?amp

Which, not going to lie, sounds really worthwhile and heartbreaking. I’ve considered it.

Anybody else had experience with or heard about this agency?

Well, I dug around a little more in their contact info and found that their contact info is the same as http://matchguaranty.com/, which is severely overpriced and looks like the regular fagency scam. Fauxgency? Anyway, it’s a pay per contact scheme at outrageous prices.

As the man said, “right to jail.”

Good sleuthing there Jeep. Yeah some agencies run under a variety of names to catch a larger audience and possibly avoid negative press that may have built up over the years with their original agency name. I know 'A Foreign Affair' (AFA) now call themselves LoveMe.com I guess after the the 2014 documentary largely about them. They also advertise in You Tube under many other different names for their Romance tours to Ukraine (when they were able to) and I think they have websites under those other names also.

Not saying that the Romance Tours were a complete non starter some people ended up married to decent girls from them but had to had the scammers there of course. Some agencies may also be legit and straight up but they can be a hard find and possibly an odd few may get bad press over the guy & girl not getting on well or how the guys felt about the agency. I would say though that unless you're sure that an agency is decent usually from many other guys/reputable source then touching them is likely to be risky business unless of course you don't mind losing a few quid.

It's certainly a pain that Ukraine is off the visit list for a bit. Putin at the moment doesn't look to want to give up despite many setbacks and not really getting anywhere other than making lives of the poor people who live there a misery. Still best to make the best of the situation you can as it's still not all unworkable so just a case of working with how things are I think.

Paying for letters always has the potential for being scammed. Even the ones I found to be more legitimate when I traveled had something going on, whether it was the agency, the women, or the workers. There are so many monthly/yearly paid sites where you don't have to pay for each letter out there as an alternative. If I were to ever use a local agency or tour, I would use them just for meetings. Paying for letters writing to women you have never met just sets you up too much to be scammed. My advice to you would be to use them when you get there. Plus, nothing beats meeting in person.
