Okay, but where's the "join" button? (Wonky websites)
« on: October 09, 2006, 07:38:25 PM »
Is this standard operating procedure for the small local agencies?  Finally found two local Rostov agencies (there's something about the gene pool in Rostov that just seems to appeal to me) and one, Cinderella, was just scary---local branch of a much bigger operation, and very "gifts oriented" . . . every profile ended with a list of suggested gifts for various occasions (including "just because") that they, of course, would be able to sell you.  ::)

The other, Albion, seems to be strictly local, and the site had loads of great information on Rostov.  Great looking ladies, too.  But . . . no button to order contact info.  No button to check apartment prices.  Basically . . . no buttons, no info, no way to get past any of the intro pages.  Oh, you can scan the database, but, if you find a woman there you're interested in . . . there's NO NEXT STEP!

wtf?  ???

Boar,

You're right, there's no "Join" button on Albion - meaning they don't
charge you for membership. You're also right that on a lady's profile,
there's no link to send her a message. BUT there are two e-mail
addys listed on the homepage - you can probably use either of those to get through to the ladies of your choice...

I like the fact they show photos of management staff, list
their office phone numbers and street address - they don't
seem shy about showing who or where they are.

If you can't find an apartment the Hotel Rostov is quite nice.   Rostov itself is one of the nicer cities I have been to in Russia.

The Travel Page has a link to hotels in Rostov, including the one Turboguy recommended, Hotel Rostov.
