It didn't fall out, it was cut.  Still very weird, though.  So as a dermatologist, what is your recommendation to increase hair growth, for example to treat alopecia, other than, of course, eliminating the underlying causes, which in this case there are none?

Scott,

That's weird!!!  Scissors left in the room?  Have you caught anyone in the house sleepwalking before?  Maybe your daughter was supposed to go somewhere and was using "dodgey hair" as a qay to get out of it???

Scott

Most likely she cut it herself or it was a prank by someone else.

To be honsest there is little in medical science that helps hair grow quicker after it has been shaved off. Topical Minoxidil lotion helps some with certain alopecias and since the mode of action is thought to be vasodilatation and increased blood supply to the follicle, theoretically it should help but there is no evidence that it does.
So the poor girl will have to wait for natural regrowth of hair.Maybe you could get her a wig (if she had thick, long hair then the hair saloon might be able to make one of her own hair that your wife has shaved off).

Hello, I am new. Sorry to butt in.

I posted in introductions. Would wait to post but, I like this sort of thing.

Maybe some one said it. I did not read it. If a man does not like cats, he is more likely to beat his wife. True?

Don't know about that one but I guess it would increase the odds of him beating the cat at least.

Lets see my fiancee told me on my first visit that if i left my underwear behind it was a sign that I would never return.  It was raining as I left to catch my flight she said this was a good sign that I would be back.  Oh and bad dreams are a good thing and good dreams are a bad thing

I am pretty sure that was a fact, maybe in their minds. I was sitting at with 3 girls, and every one said yes. But, anyway, they take your signs as real. When talking about birthdates, mine was asked, and I was born in early March, they all knew, I am the fish sign.

I would suggest you do not beat anything, and you really like cats.

My wife insisted on waiting until June to be married because she says marriages that happen in May don't last

My magic belt protects me from the evil spirits.  All a woman has to do to share the protection is slip her hand underneath it... ;)

Regarding such superstitions, our great grandparents and before had similar ideas.

If any woman has real feelings about these rather than humorous comments, then I think that is a pretty strong signal.
I am a sex tourist who is driven by the hunt with no emotion or empathy and suffer from Satyriasis, Don Juan Syndrome and Madonna-Whore complex (but on alternating days) with confidence issues and many other issues. I suffer loneliness with no family, friends or money.  I have ED and orgasm problems
