Ice pick ... chop, chop
« on: October 17, 2006, 01:52:16 PM »
I am new, but have been reading past threads aggressively.  What a wealth of information!!!!!!!!

For the past several months the one question that has been in the back of my mind is this "Are the Russian girls REAL?"  After reading much from this site, I know believe that they are AND they are NOT.  Which is better than a flat out NO.

I am recently separated from a 10 year relationship.  No marriage.  No kids.  My X was usually the prettiest girl in any room.  I appreciated it ... but now I am seeking a woman who is beautiful on the INSIDEand outside too.

I began dating again in NYC about 6 months ago, and quite accidentally met several students from Eastern Europe .... that lead me to international dating sites, and the Russian Mail Order Bride sites (Although I dislike the term intensely).

I THOUGHT I was a big stud because of all the pretty girls that were dying to meet me on Anastasia. com:) I THOUGHT I have made a connection, or two on RLM (maybe, maybe not)  Now, I am beginning to find my center through the process.  I am really refining my thoughts now before I travel.

I'm not easily deceived by a wink, and thanks to the reports I have studied here I will cope better with the falsehoods that seem to come with the territory.

Why am I here?  I like the raw romance of the proposition!  If two people can find each other, believe in each other, and accept the difficulties of different cultures ... that seems like a good place to start.  A REAL place to start.

I will continue to share my thoughts and experiences, as have those before me.
