Questions for Panel of 'Experts' - Agency Owners....
« on: November 06, 2006, 08:31:24 AM »
Guys (and Gals),

I am working to arrange a panel discussion - or a guest appearance - of major figures in the international introduction businesses - and would like to capture your input for topics to be addressed.

Let's begin with addressing Agency Owners. Please reply with specific questions you would like to see addressed/answered by the agency owners. Later, we will add immigration attorneys - and maybe travel specialists - and others - but we will start with Agency Owners.

I will lead off with this question:

? How do you attract girls to become a part of your agency? List of different processes and the success rate would be appreciated.

Once we collect a series of questions, myself and the Mod Squad will consolidate the list and prepare a list of final questions which will be posed to the panel, or guest, in a Live Chat to be scheduled in the near future. We will offer a brief period of Q & A for all members - and provided the venue turns out to be a productive exchange for all, we may expand the open Q & A in future sessions.

Please let me know your questions - and let's try to avoid the rhetorical or baiting type questions.

Thanks,

- Dan

I'd like to know if agency owners are complying with IMBRA requirements, and how.

I'd also like to know the percentage of male clients they have refused or banned for inappropriate conduct i.e. sex tourism etc.

I would like to know what tools are used to qualify a woman. For example, does an agency ask to see their passport to ensure the face matches the photos, the name and age is correct, etc..

Does an agency take the time to run the names through a scam list, and not all contain the same data so maybe more than one?

Does the agency monitor outbound emails of their profiles? Most scammers do not respond to inquires from men but list themselves to take advantage of the men who might be listed on a website.

If a scammer is found, besides removing the profile, will the agency list her in a scam database of their own or perhaps share that info with other agencies ( New concept?) and even go so far as to send an email to the men she contacted to advise them of her 'new status"?  What criteria should be used to prevent someone from trying to be vindictive aganist another person versus identifying a true scammer?

Some of my questions would be only appropriate for certain agencies. For example, for the Angelika network, I would ask why most of their women do not have e-mails when purchasing contact info when other agencies would have the same women and offer e-mails when contact info was purchased. For Army of Brides, I would ask them why they refer their customers to an anti-scam site of a different name when in fact the anti-scam site is located in the same office of Army of brides.

Here's some basic questions:

Do you use feeder agencies?

Do you check on your women occasionally and get rid of old profiles and unavailable women?

Do you refuse service to men who clearly write obscene letters?

Has Imbra affected your profit margin?

Has Imbra affected the failure rate of k-1's that were started due to the fact the wait time is longer? This is probably better for an immigration attorney to answer.

I'd prefer to see you get representatives of the BCINS on here to answer questions.

BC, good one  ;D!  Ok, here are some questions for you Dan:

1.   Besides client referrals, what are the strategies your agency uses to recruit sincere women?
2.   Do you think your agency will survive over the next seven years and why?
3.  What percentage of men actually make the trip to the FSU who contact your agency for any service?
4.  How many men were married through work your agency has done for them and what percentage of these men are still married after 2, 5 , seven years etc.?
5.   Do you think there is a reason why it seems that there is no collegeality amongst agency owners?

Just to amplify what Billy brought up---

Do you promptly remove ladies from your database when asked, especailly if a lady becomes engaged? Is there a formal procedure for this?
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted.

There was a show on in Ukraine while I was there about 3 weeks ago-sorta like 60 minutes- and it attacked a certain agency(English based) over its sex tourists and the presence of prostitutes on their web site. The answer from the agency's Ukrainian manager was, of course, that all of the other agencies in the Ukraine allow sex tourists to come and allow prostitutes on their website and this one agency was the only one that didnt-a lonely outpost of virtue amid a vast ocean of iniquity.

And that will be the answers from the vast majority of agencies.

Most of the big ones wont mean it. . . it is their livelihood.  The smaller agencies do not have the same problems because they dont run tours and they personally know most of their clients.

What means do you use to verify the educational background
of your clients listed in your agency profiles?

Do you check their job status?
