She's back home from Kiev.  After a delay, (missing finacial info) that was my fault, she has it!

Congrats! That's great news :-)
The greater danger for most of us lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low, and achieving our mark.  michelangelo

Spasiba!  Yeah, tommorrow I'm going right away to the travel agent.  Looks like I'll be leaving to get her in December.  Tommorrow, I've got to give my employer advance notice. In  writing I'll explain that I must be gone for "personal and cultural reasons".  Nothing is keeping me off that plane.

Thanks for the support.  I already bought the tickts.  So in December I'm flying over to Europe.  I got multiple destination tickets, so I can stop in The Netherlands for a few days. Then I'm off to Odessa for a week, in my usual rented apartment.  I made well sure we're seated together, and we'll be back before Christmas weekend.

I congratulate you,  it's been so long ago that my wife and I went thru the agonies of the *wait*, but I remember clearly the heartfelt joy when the visa was finally approved.  We've been there with you.  Now the real work begins.

I've been looking forward to hearing how LS's postermania
is greeted by his future wife.

It'll be a very merry Christmas, LatinSwede. Have a safe
and smooth flight home.

Postermania?  Oh yes, she made it very clear that certain things need to come down.  You'll probably laugh, but I haven't bought any new poste4rs for the last 6 months.  Just the other day I was in a place called Fantasy music and gifts.  I saw some real classsics like Army of Darkness, The Crow, The Jimmy Hendrix Experience (with his original white English rythem section), Motor Head, etc.  Then reality kicked in. It's pointless to buy somthing that's going to be taken down.  Hmm, I wonder if the zombie movie posters will make it through our first night together in the home.  Hopefully she'll be tired from being all day and all night in airports and planes to notice.
