I contend that there is no way that a 55 year old retirement age was unsustainable.
You are bringing up the unrelated point that Putin promised it anyway. If you wanted
to argue the actuarial possibilities then we might have something to talk about, but
you want to tell me that Putin promised to do something instead.

Let's use a similar argument
Putin can promise that he will fly to Mars in a Russian spaceship and back in 2021.
I contend that it's not possible for him to do this in 2021. You point out
"But..but.. but... he promised!! Beel HE PROMISED!" 

It doesn't matter, he ain't flying to Mars in 2021. NOTE: I wasn't defending Putin's
claim that he would fly to Mars. I was just saying that he is NOT flying to Mars.
