hey everyone.  I am very new to this whole world and need advice. Communication was started between myself and What I thought to be a beautiful girl. I would like to hope that was the truth, but from everything to this point and what I have been reading, its unlikely. would you read and advise me please. here is letter one. What would you get from this? Oh yeah, back ground info. I got an email on my profile to a dating site. In the email I was asked to respond to a certain email address ( goodone4u@gmail.com ). this letter ( a response to the one I sent to goodone4u ) came from a different address than that one. here it is...

it is my first time I try to correspondence with man in internet world.
I do hope you will be enough patient to understand my writing.
I want you to know that I have only good intentions and I don`t have big secrets.
The thing is that I will work abroad for three months or so and I would like to meet a nice man to be my guide
or just be good friend to spend time with.I think that it is hard enough to live in foreign town without
friends and also I have never been abroad. I am from so small town here in Russia,I am afraid to be
lost. I want to see real life and it is impossible to see without

I don't want to live in Russia because I have not any chances here,it
is hardly possible to explain it by the first time but I want you to know my plans.
In Russia many young girls also want to start a new life abroad, so many of them
used a special program "Work and travel" for young people who wants to work abroad.
I also decided to do so and to use it. This program just helps to register documents and gives suitable work
in any state(town)of USA or Canada. I just need to choose.I already started to register
documents and now I need to decide in which city I want to work.
I`m 25 years old and I`m not afraid of work (I will work as a fitness trainer). I think it is the right way for
me, I am lost here, and I think that I look pretty enough to find a better place. I never been abroad so I decided
to find a friend abroad and make his city to be my destination. I want to repeat the same way,it is my  only
chance to change my life. I am full of plans and different dreams.I have real blonde hair and grey
eyes,you know that sometimes my friends call me Barby.to be fair I don't like this name . I am not a doll and
I have my own mind.I do hope that you  will be not disappointed to meet me in the real life if we will meet.
Well,I will close this letter and I do hope to get your reply.
I will leave my town in a few days or so (I can't tell you everything exactly right now) and I would like to
be sure that I have a man who waits for me there. I will work all day and I would like  to find a man to spend
all free
time together to get to know each other better.if you have any interest to meet me I will be more than happy to
meet you too.
My be it sounds silly but I just don't want to be alone in the evenings,and I want to be sure
in advance that somebody waits for me!
I think that my e-mails starts to be too long so I will tell you all details about me and my life
that you would like to know in next e-mails if you will like my
pictures and will want to meet me! I send my different pictures.

Scroll down past e-mails #1 thru 4, the fake passport, the cheeky photos, and there you'll find your letter verbatim.

My advice? Keep reading here at RWD, research those threads
carefully. And maybe rethink your present correspondence tactics.

You should certainly try a different alternative, but for chuckles and giggles, you might play out the correspondence until she asks you for the a huge sum for her visa.  Or even better, confront her with the link you received, and see what her reaction is.   I' m not into this anymore, being happily married, but it would be appeal to my prurient interest to know how these scammers react when they are confronted.

Charles, I doubt they'd bat an eye. It's a numbers game - and if they hook one walleye in a hundred casts, it's payday! A quick scan of Infoman's link reveals at least three guys that sent money to Ivan, you know the one with the fabulous tush in the string bikini?

funny you mention about the money letter. I recieved it in email today. This is after many others where she seemed to be a real person with good intentions. Wow, I cant beleive I was buying this. I responded by confronting her... or whoever it is, saying that I will not send any money being as her letters are identical to many others that result in a scam. She asked for $1000.00 western union to help her buy a $1300 plane ticket. Ill post this letter. She had me going for a minute there. This is such a bummer. Feel like such a fool. I had no clue this has been going on for such a long time. Like I said... new to this whole world. Anyhow, here is the money letter...

Unfortunately, this is the same old, tired scam that many of us have seen many times before.  You were smarter than I was in the beginning, because I sent a few hundred to someone I corresponded with daily for months - even talked to her on the phone - and did this when I was naive and didn't know about such things, especially this site and anti-scam sites.  They prey on the guys that are new at this and hope they will fall in love with photos.  By and large, there is someone else scamming behind the photos - the photos are used to lure you in, and the letters are "form" letters.

RULE OF THUMB - NEVER send any money...period.  You may see a lot of things regarding sick relatives, need money for visa / plane fare, trying to get home from Nigeria (I hope there isn't a soul in the world that falls for anything with the word "Nigeria" or "Ghana" in it)...you name it.  The bottom line - this is the best place anywhere to find out EVERYTHING about FSU women.  If you have a question, ask.  Search the forum.  Everything has been experienced in one way or another by an active member here, and we are all here to help not only each other, but newbies, especially.

Do not tell the scammer you found his letters at scam sites. Do not tell him you know who he is. He will change his name, photos and letters making it difficult for others to find him on Google. Do not send links to scammers of this forum or anti-scam sites otherwise he will be able to fine tune his methods. Maybe send him a 10 digit Western Union number and tell him to go get his money at the bank. Hopefully he will feel stupid coming home empty handed. The more times he feels stupid, he might change careers and try other types of crime. There are scammers who made millions off gullible men. Don't support them.
