I'm sort of open-minded....
« on: January 26, 2007, 11:21:15 PM »
 Hello folks.

First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for their contributiuons to a site like this, because it has kept me entertained for a few hours, and already answered a lot of my questions.
I am a 25-year old guy, and instead of complaining about my situation concerning the declining quality of the people of my generation, I decided to research other cultures to perhaps meet real people (well, in a better ratio. People are people no matter where they are.) I am probably a future ex-pat as well. I might even bother some of you, with questions about where you live. But I am sure you will answer them with heart and honesty.
As for the women, I'd like to find something clean and clear. This is also why I decided to join this site, because I am very curious about their lifestyles "over there". I certainly know the lifestyles of most of the girls here in North America....sheesh! I am taking my trip to Ukraine in June (Ukraine is easier on a newbie tourist I guess), and I have already made a few agency selection mistakes. ;D Maybe you'll hear about them soon.
I am looking forward to talking to you guys (or girls) on a few topics.
Thanks in advance, for all the help.

Welcome aboard. I am glad that you have an open mind. It takes an open and very clear one at all times. Just hang around you will see for yourself what this can be like. Some people can handle it others run off screaming and pulling their hair out. We are always glad to have new people , thank you..

First, welcome to our site, Rick.

Tell us more about what you mean by "clean and clear."

And how did you learn about FSU girls and decide to go visit?  Was it from internet agency sites?  If so, let me warn you--they do not represent FSU women.

The truth is that the lifestyles of most girls in their 20s in the FSU are not traditional at all.  And their morals are more liberal than in the US.

My advice-- Read this site-- for hours.  Even days.  Read the Trip Reports and learn from the mistakes (more of these) and successes of those who have already gone.

And run any agency name you use by the experienced guys here.  Most agencies are scams and will cheat you, take your money, and break your heart.

Good luck, my friend.

I was also curious about the " As for the women, I'd like to find something clean and clear."

Is that another way of saying *sober and drug free*?

Hi guys.

 Thanks for the positive responses.
I'll first state that "clean and clear", clear; meant disease-free, neddle-drug or snort-drug free, a mind that functions, some morals, and clear; meaning what is said, is what is meant. I know, I used to date a Serbian woman who was here on a student Visa, and when she had a thought...I knew what it was right away (no arm-crossing or week-long scowls ;D). I would say, I appreciate the bluntness in some of them as I appreciate it in myself.

Most call it "Mail order brides", but I like to call it "outsourcing". Almost all positive human interaction I have had in Canada was from family, and a lot of the immigrants I meet. For relationships, I have had a Japanese girl (student), Serbian girl (student), and a Ukraininan girl (student). Those relationships ended by reasons sourced outside of the relationship. Like, they catch me being bad, defending my/her honor. They became afraid of me. But that was a few years ago. Now, I just let things roll off my back.

Now, I read "Jim's" website, and despite his disclaimers, he makes the FSU chicks look 10 times worse than North American girls. Considering my experience with a small handful of foreign women, I still know what kind of traits a piece of crap person possesses, and I just stay away from them. There's really no need to be bitter. If I don't take the plunge, I'll never get to swim.
The girls I associated with were actually good representatives of their countries.

I am travelling to Ukraine for numerous reasons. I'm going to track down the last relative of my family overseas just to say hi, I want to see Chernobyl (yeah, I'm odd) I want to see submarine bases, I want to see underground monasteries, etc.
I was also going to sit in the crimea for two weeks to get a feel for the life there. I was actually thinking about buying some land there, as I have a strange notion that the british are going to try to turn it into a cheaper alternative to the cote d' azur.
Maybe I'll live on the land, maybe I sell it at a sick price to the british developers in  a few years.

I've done a little research, but I have no hands-on experience. And while I'm there....might as well try to pick me up a lady-like souvenir, no?
Of course, I joined an agency to get a head start with correspondence, of course it was anastasiaweb, and of course it's a bad agency  ;D. I should have researched here first!

So I have a few girls lined up, (I can tell you some adventures with this agency at another time if you wish). I have actually poked and prodded and squeezed some genuine emotion out of these people, but I only have faith in one girl (I'll tell you why, if you ask). I'm deleting my profile, and I am going to try to talk to them through traditional E-mail.

When I get over there, there will be a few meetings, and if it falls through, then I get a decent trip out of it. I can always target the locals. Besides, if all else fails....If I want a good-looking, english-speaking woman form the FSU, I will hire a translator, and try to pick up the translator!!!
$10 an hour for a date? I've spent more....

Now there's a term I can conect with. I wonder how it would float with the search engines? Much more uptodated thinking than 'Mail Order Brides'.

If you are interested in Chernobyl, they do have a rather interesting Chernobyl museam in Kiev that you may find interesting in case you want to add that to your to do list.

If plan A does not work out there are also some good agencies in Kiev that could have you meeting lots of quality women with little effort.

Welcome to the site.  If you need information about Ukraine and particulary about Crimea I can probably help you out more than most since I live here.  I think you're pretty tight on about what the coast here will become.  Land prices along the coast have already skyrocketed, but there are still some good deals if you have the contacts and know where to look.  I will say that if you plan to spend a couple of seeks on the coast of the Black Sea in summer, you are in for a real eye opener.  It's pretty much a carnival atmosphere with the beaches packed with beautiful women in thong bikinis during the day and nightclubs at night.  I wish I had known about this place when I was your age.  Of course back then I would have been arrested for the pictures I took of the Russian subs.
