We did a Vegas wedding and as much as I prepared Polina for how cheesy it would be, she was still in shock  After our 10-minute cermony we had a 5-minute photo session, during which an obviously drunk couple walked in off the street and wanted to get married. They were both wearing jeans and t-shirts, obviously they had decided only moments earlier to get married. The receptionist was in a rush to get them to sign papers and take their money!

This past weekend we walked around our neighborhood scouting local places to have a reception for family and friends. My wife would like her mom, sis, and a few friends to attend so it should be interesting!

Thanks to all the married people here who have posted their experiences as newlyweds, the advice allowed me to prepare well for her arrival and ease her transition. I couldn't be happier with how things are working out!
