A buddy of mine obtained a comic book Peta had printed and passed around to kids. It told the kids their mommy is a killer and showed cartoons of mommy cutting up a rabbit with blood and guts hanging out.

Did you notice that the woman holding the sign in russian is better looking than one woman holding the sign in english? ;)

There was a woman holding a sign in English? Hmmm, missed that one...  ::)

Years ago when I was field trialling dogs, PETA protested one of our AKC sponsored trials, we countered by making up a big sign saying PETA stood for "People Eating Tasty Animals".

They didn't see the humor in it.

Those PETA people are idiots. Hmmm, the signs they are holding are made out of paper, which comes from trees. Someone had to cut down a tree for them. Oh the terrible torture of those trees. Lets not forget the bird nest that was in that tree. The brutality they committed to produce those signs. Those poor little baby birds that died in the tree they destroyed for those signs. They may not wear animals for clothes, but if their clothes are made of cotton, the poor little field mice that were killed while plowing the fields every year. And how does one exactly torture a chicken? Please, lets not go there, especially if choking is involved!  :D

I love the buffet at KFC... anyways, I would say that I enjoyed some chicken nuggets yesterday too.

I am not vegan by any means and I have to get a weekly dose of meat and fish for the complete diet. That's just the way I am :)

This KFC protest was in Moscow. PETA is now campaigning hard for Russian women to give up fur. My girl says damn them, let them try wearing anything less than fur in -30C. ;D

Women wearing fur will be one of my lasting memories from my trip to Ukraine.  It was such a wonderful change from the wool coats you see women wearing at home...

I even saw some men in cow hide jackets with hair still on and they looked great too!

BRING BACK FUR COATS!

p.s. that Russian "chick" is hot! She could probably convince me to do a lot of things, no fur..no problem... no leather...no problem...no meat....uhhhh...we got a problem  :-\

I brought a Canadian raccoon coat to my sweetie on Trip No. 2,
and she loved it. I'd do it again, even with Joanna Krupa, Peta's newest spokesperson, baring all to show her displeasure (although in Joanna's case, I'd rather she not wear fur, too...

I know VWRW has made some of her own clothes an they are beautiful. Perhaps I will start making some trips to the Humaine Society. It could be dinners for me and a new fur coat for her
