About AOB and Belanoff Agency!

Hello!  I am new on this site as of today. I have been a member of Army of Brides since 2003 and I have had my ups and downs communicating with some of the women on Army of Brides. I have been to the Ukraine 3 times and Russia 1 time. Army of Bride's has alway's given me sound information about any questions that I have ever asked of them! In September 2006 I used the services of Belanoff Agency in Kharkov, to meet a few girls!   Natasha the owner and Sergey the manager and interpreter run a first class bussiness and with the help from their services I have found my future wife! Anna. She will have her interview in April 2007. I went back in January 2007 to visit Anna for her birthday! I stayed with Anna and her mom for the week!!! It was a trip living with two women and only one of them could speak a little English an my Pre-K Russian was very little help!  I just wanted to share a positive note about Belanoff Agency...and they are also helping Anna with her paper work for the K-1 Visa.  A happy Texan, Wayne.

Army of Brides has one of the worst reputations in the industry. One of the women I wrote to took my info and made a profile at Army of Brides. I get hundreds of letters every month. Every hot young model girl at their site wrote me. But I know if I payed to open one letter from AoB from a woman who didn't write it or if I sent a letter to a woman who's not reading it, then I been scammed. There are agencies out there that write and read letters on women's behalf without their knowledge. It's about making money on men's fantasies.

Wayne, I don't know if you're here to advertise an agency in your first post or if you're really a happy customer expressing your joy. But think about it, you may have been scammed in some fashion many a times in the 4 years you used that agency. Letters, translation costs, girts you sent.....

Billy I have a profile on AOB and I still get many letters also but, I don't read all of them because like you say it's all about money! Like any business! I can only tell you that I haven't wasted time on just reading and writing letters, I went to see for myself if there was any truth to all of this? I have been to several cities in the Ukraine and most of the women were real some of the 'model' looking women not so preatty! but, the not so stand out women like my Anna! 'Stunning' with natural beauty! and very real in person! Billy, I am on this site to maybe give some answers to what I know is real and I am real. I live in South East Texas near Houston. Im not here to advertise any agency....just stating actual facts about Belanoff and their help! I talk with Sergey often by phone so that he can help Anna with her paper work and Belanoff has yet to charge me a dime! and I talk with Anna everyday! Billy have you been to the Ukraine? Wayne.

I have been to Ukraine a dozen times more or less but never used Army of Brides.   They do have one of the worst reputations in the industry but I am glad to hear you had success.

A lot of other men have come to the forums and wanted to see the truth to. They spent hundreds to thousands of dollars to correspond with ladies and thousands of dollars to go visit one only to find out she didn't show up, or went on one date with the lady and she never seemed interested, or the lady was interested but had no idea about the man who wrote her dozens of letters because the man might have been exchanging love letters with Boris, the emplyee of the month.

Billy, I have also spent quite a sum of money 'without' success! In fact the main girl that I went to see in Kharkov, dumped me like a lead balloon after the first date! But, when I met Anna the next day for the first time in my life I knew what the meaning of 'love at first sight' meant! Then I thought that she might also dump me...but after almost two weeks together and meeting her mom! I thought that I might have a chance? So I proposed and Anna said yes! Billy, AOB may have a bad rep? but I can only say nothing but positive things about Belanoff! I look at it this way, to never go is to never know! plus the country and it's cities are beautiful and the food is great! Wayne.  P.S. Take a chance!

I've been to Uzbekistan 3 times and Russia twice. My ex-wife was Ukrainian that I met in the States.

I'm not surprised the girl you went to see in Kharkov dumped you like a lead balloon after the first date. A lot of guys get the bait and switch from agencies. 20% of the hottest women get 80% of the attention. Some of these women lure men to visit them knowingly they have no interest in the guy. Out of courtesy or agency requirements, they date the man once only to dump him afterward. Some of these women do not build up hope for marriage with these meetings as the man probably does. The truth is, many of these women may not have invested any time corresponding with these men so they have nothing to lose and no emotional attachment to the guys visiting them.

Once a guy is dumped and stuck in a land he's unfamiliar with, the agency comes to rescue! For only $50 a date, they could hook you up with another woman! The guy is happy with agency and if he finds true love, he comes to the forum to promote the agency unsuspecting he was part of the bait and switch game played on him! Wayne, you are not the first guy to come here on a first post to promote a bad agency based on your success and you certainly won't be the last because most guys don't know what hit them.

I will admit, every girl in every photo in every agency is real, they are not cartoons. But do you know if you're writing to that girl in the photo or an employee of the agency? There are certainly less riskier roads to take in life. Choose wisely.

Keep in mind, Belanoff may be a feeder agency to AoB and have the same practices as AoB.

Wayne, you got lucky, give youself a little more credit in finding a good woman than the agency you used. Although it's not easy to judge a woman good in two weeks with her, for argument sake, I'll take your word for it.

Billy, I will keep in mind what you are saying to me! I have spent a little more time with Anna as I stated earlier that in January, I went back and I stayed with Anna and her mom. I have met her entire family in Kharkov, and they have asked me many questions about my true intentions for the future with Anna. I had been writing letters to Anna shortly before we met. Belanoff was the agency that we in person met each other.  Billy, if the rug gets pulled out from under my feet! Then I will be finished with a positive outlook towards my search....  As of now I can only rely on my instinct. Wayne.
