Short-Term Moscow Apartment and Driver help

Hello Everyone,

   I was wondering if the experienced Guru's here could offer some advice and POC info. I am considering adding a night or two to my itinerary in Moscow. I am looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and most importantly safe apartment and driver for about 2 days. This will be for early this fall. I am also curious what the current prices and expected capital outlay estimate for this might be. I am hoping some of you who have been could give me a ball park as to what to expect.

Perhaps Lily, Jazzy, or Rvrwind could help you out there. Check with them. There is also Moscow Rick who rents apartments there but I don't know his website or contact info.

I have used Andre at Peace Travel in the past for airport transfers, internal flight airline tickets, and short term accomodation.  I always received good and reliable service.  He went out of his way for me a few years ago when I needed some things on a very short notice.  Here is the link.

As far as prices, looking at Andre's price lists Moscow sure hasn't gotten any cheaper over the past few years.  Kind of makes me long for the old Intourist with $80.00 a night rooms directly across the street from Red Square.  That price included breakfast and the occassional random phone calls from hookers in the middle of the night.

Thanks for the link "Phil", I'll check it out...Here is abit more info on what I was thinking. I have talked with my SO and since her family is very close and I want to go see all the touristy stuff with her and her family.  So I was thinking a 1-2 bedroom apt for a night or two, the driver would pick up my RW her mom and her Sis the Am of my arrival bring them from the train to the apt then the airport. Grab me at noon when I land or so and we all go to the apt to drop off the luggage then off to do the sights for the day. Perhaps theatre or whatever in the evening then repeat the next day. The evening we depart a ride from the apt to the train station for all so we can take the Overnight train to Voronezh.
