WARNING: Not to be read by virgins, closet homosexuals, put the FSU women on a pedestal types, and others who are revolted by normal sexual conduct.
I repeat here what I have said before. Yes, boring to some, but I do so in a (probably futile) attempt to forestall some of the stupid comments by those who know nothing of my background.
First, I date many women in many countries of the world. I believe in the standard practice (outside these discussion boards) of dating first, and thinking of marriage second. I am not adverse to marriage, but I am not desparate in looking for a wife similarly to looking for a TV, car, etc., as something that must be obtained within X time period.
Second, I travel for business first and, as I am heterosexual, always look for women also. I have been to FSU over twenty times, had first dates with over 150 FSU women (to be increased after this trip) and been intimate with 37 (to be increased after this trip).

I arrived in Odesa 11 May. My first time in this city.
As always, prior to trip I contact many gals and try to set up definite date times. My work does not require full days, so I have pleanty of time for the ladies.
From the beginning, I sensed a problem with Odesa ladies, quite unlike any that I had ever encounted before.
First was the rate at which they even checked their boxes on the various Internet dating sites (I never use agencies). Initially, I thought I had hit a gold mine with Match Doctor which I had used many times before for other cities. There were over 400 ladies that seemed to fit most of my criteria re age, height, weight, education, etc. Even in St Pete there had only been around 125 on this site.
But, as I waited and waited, I found that only about 27 of the 400 ever came to their mailbox. You can see this on the MD website which is a plus. This was incredible and lower rate than anything I had ever encounted for any city by a factor of about 10.
And, not a one of these 27 replied to me. In previous cities about 90% had replied to my first contact. I still have no explanation for this divergence of results compared to identical procedures, etc., for other cities. But it set in motion a sense of foreboding in my mind regarding Odesa women . . . . something that has come to pass.
So I immediately tried some other places like Luckylovers and FreeRussianPersonals. Now I got a much better response rate. But, I began to realize that most of these ladies did not have nearly the English skills that I required. Their letters were being written by others, etc. Yes, this always happens in every city, but again, here in Odesa the rate was greater by a large factor. And they tried hard to hide this fact, until the last days before my arrival. Again, omnious signs re Odesa women.
A week before my departure, I was down to only 6 seemingly solid ladies and zero backups. In other cities at this juncture I had 12 to 15 solids with 15 backups. My 3-4 backups here were very weak in English and wanted to bring Interpreters, something that I refuse to do.
But then more disaster struck. One of the six showed her true colors. In my standard statement of : lets plan to meet between 1 and 2 PM on X May at Y place. We will go to a restaurant, have meal, and then spend as much of the afternoon and evening together as you wish.
She replied, I will never meet for a date between 1 and 2, 5 or 6, 8 and 9 or any other such type of hour. We will do a standard date or none at all. I didn't know what to make of her statement, except I knew she was not a woman I wanted to meet. No other of more than 150 women had ever misinterepreted my statements, and this gal had very good English skills. So now I am down to 5.
Then, in response to my statement: Lets meet near my apt (which I will tell you where it is later) and then go to a nearby restaurant. Another lady replied, I don't know where you will be living, but I do know where we will go. She then specified an area that I had previously told all that I didn't want to go. Now again, of 150 previous ladies, none had refused to come to a location near my apartment for initial meeting. So I dropped another domineering type, and am down to 4.
So now, I really have to kick in backup plan number 3. This is to contact ladies in other Ukrainian cities that I have already met before and invite them to Odesa. This plan worked out very well. But it seems odd that Odesa has always been touted to me as having the best women in FSU, and I am having to ship in women from other cities!!!!!
