Hopefully I am not overstepping my bounds here
« on: July 22, 2007, 04:10:38 PM »
Hopefully I am not overstepping my bounds here. If I am I will ask Dan to remove this post.
Mamma D is a humble person and not the type to brag about anything.

I understand that her Russian Grandson Has been accepted to Stanford and will be going there next fall.

I want to be one of the first to Congratulate her and her family on this incredible accomplishment.

Hopefully I am not way out of line,

Take care,

Bill

Bill,

Not sure why you would think this was overstepping anything? Mamma D is a treasure and her family successes are to be relished by any and all of us.

A better thread title relating to congratulating Mamma D and her grandson would have probably been more appropriate but I'll join you in the thought.

Congratulations to Mamma D's grandson and to the whole family for keeping it real and focusing on what is really important in our lives, our families!

Mamma D,

Thanks for all the nice PM's!

And congrats on this honor!  Wow!

I agree - a true nice heart and soul from my experience; deserving of family success.

;)
Back to having fun in life!

I know Bill started the other thread but I'll just add to Dave's thoughts here.

Mamma D is one of the VERY FEW real gems around. She is always uplifting and always real. To have her grace us with her presence and thoughts is a wonderful gift and a true pleasure.

Of all the people I have come to know, virtually and otherwise, through these boards Mamma D is without a doubt a genuine treasure!
