Elen's on five, but muted, whatever that means.

Stirlitz is on four, and one of them is NOT me. Mind u he got into a lot of bother on RWG recently, hitting on his clients girl apparently, worth a trip to RWG to read, in sympathy, before it dies. Der RWG ist tot....

Jack's on four too I think, might be three, it was ten mins since I looked, the old memory not what it, err, was...

YOU SERIOUS????

*gone away to read it*

Ohhhhhh, you ARE serious....

Another great advertisement for guides... especially one who attacked me so vehemently when I posted my own dissatisfaction with another guide.

I think the best advice to men is to find a way to be as self sufficient as possible when travelling in FSU and avoid using guides - f course unless you're prepared to put up with a guide hitting on your girls or giving you "good old fashioned Ukrainian service".

Catzenmouse... sorry for raising guides again but I DO think it's an issue newbies NEED to be aware of...

Me and jb are both on 5

While it is not possible to abolish visas for Ukrainians but considering they have done it for EU the least EU could have done was to make visa free for them.

But that would mean UK is equal to Ukraine and no way! Sorry guys but FSU is still in the 'crap country' group in AliG terminology.

Visa-waivers are usually issued for like-for-like countries.

But if a Ukr got the polski visa, then I presume they could disappear into the rest of the EU, who knows till we read the rules, but who abides by them, all u need is a foothold, and if ur desperate enough, foothold becomes an open door..

How can it be equal when there is a visa for Ukrainians and no visa for EU?
The visa (for Ukrainians) cannot be abolished, the visa fee can.
Among the European FSU countries Moldova is the least visited by tourists (last year 15 million tourists visited Russia, 7.5 million Ukraine and only 21,000 visited Moldova)
So if you want less competition, forget Kharkov and head for Kishinev :) (from this year no visa is needed for Moldova for EU and US citizens)

Come on mate get real! If UK reciprocated we'd be flooded with Ukrainians as per poles recently cos basically no fuker in UK really wants to go to Ukraine and conversely every fuker Ukr would flock here in droves cos as we all know, the streets of London are paved with Gold. Either that or vomit from the previous nights piss up.

I never said it was equal mate - it's totally unequal and for good reason.

Ste

You are not getting what I am saying.
Let me give you an example:
Before Poland joined EU Polish citizens required visa to visit UK or other EU countries. So they went through all the visa process, however since Poland had unilaterally abolished visa for UK and EU there was one concession for them the:  Polish citizens did not pay a fee for a UK visa.
So if visa fee is abolished that will not mean that we will get many more immigrants, only that those who want to come here for legitimate reasons will find it easier on their pocket.

I am being ignored by two but by posting this there may be two more ignoring me. I think it is all rather silly. I went from zero to two in an hour. Maybe as an alternative to "Muted" someone can be "Gagged." I am enjoying posting non personal stuff I can at least maintain a sense of humor.
