radio ads for Anastasia?
« on: August 02, 2007, 05:22:57 PM »
Encountered something pretty strange on the AM talk radio station here in Austin today. It was a radio ad for "Anastasia International" . Pretty cheesy, a couple of guys talking about their other friend who couldn't hang out with them because he was at the beach with his new Russian bride. Made it all sound so simple and easy, then directed listeners to their website.
The radio host was caught a bit off guard, and actually started making fun of the ad on his own station! Pretty funny stuff! He had callers calling in trying to explain the process to him, asked if there was a "money back guarantee", etc.
Anybody else heard these ads in their city? Seems like the agencies are getting pretty desperate for new "marks" these days...
 Cheers, Wendell in Austin
