USC,

Really, REALLY, hope things continue to get better by the day. I know you are probably filled to overflowing with emotions and hopes and dreams and I do understand that. Just try to take a step back a bit and don't make any decisions until your next trip. There really is plenty of time! Really!

Thor,

Never been to Ukraine. Would like to sometime but I found my treasure in Russia. One thing that we can agree on is that there are many beautiful women everywhere. Unfortunately for all you guys looking I got the most beautiful one. You'll survive though...  :D

USCFAN is a great guy, very genuine, I met him on this trip and he and I and a core group of guys who got together had a great time together.  Not sure yet if I will be posting a trip report, my trip was not what I'd call normal (missed my initial flight when I was 10 minutes late to check in and the airline refused to even try to get me to the flight - I was 50 minutes before takeoff and they wanted 60 minutes, ended up flying out a few days later and missing most of Kharkov).

I do have to say this, having been to Moscow a few times, I think the number of beautiful women who dress to the 9's is greater in Ukraine than in Moscow at least in my experience.  My new digitial camera is getting quite the workout these days and fortunately my special lady is very understanding of this habit of mine :).  So many jaw dropping, whiplash inducing, salivating-worthy ladies it's unreal.  If my heart wasn't given over to another...at dance clubs I've had some pretty hot women constantly bump into me when there's been PLENTY of room for them to dance away from me...I have no doubt I could walk away with a fistful of numbers ever night at the clubs if I so desired.

Catzenmouse, I'm glad you feel that way but unfortunately you somehow overlooked the best, most beautiful lady out there but I managed to snag her this trip...sorry to burst your bubble ;-).  Seriously we *all* should feel this way about our ladies.

Maybe you've heard the expression "swinging for the fences" ?

To continue the baseball analogy ... "There's a long drive ... deep to right center ... it might be, it could be, it's ..."

Only time will tell, but I KNOW I made the right choice getting back to Kharkov to see my lady. We spent 10 hours together Sunday, and even though there were a few ups and downs because she was not feeling the best, overall ... and especially the way the evening ended (no ... not that!) we took that next step forward in our new relationship.

I am home now ... 15 hours on different planes is just not something the human body should have to deal with :P So I took one extra day off to try and get my head on straight and take care of some needed things here at home.

Catzen ... your post is so true. I realize a lot of it is pure exhaustion, but right now my emotions are overwhelming. I'm hurting quite a bit right now. I appreciate your input 8)  I hope you're right about having "time". I'm not ready to propose or anything like that, we do need to get to know each other more. I just wasn't ready to meet someone like this ... and now we are 9000 miles apart.

KenC ... you are correct sir!  :P  I got off the plane at Chicago, looked around and thought ... "Why the hell am I here?". I don't want to be here, I want to be back in Ukraine. I spent 2.5 hours in the airport and didn't see 1 woman that could hold a candle to the ladies of Ukraine ...

Supernatural ... Thanks bud. I think we made a great group of friends that really helped with my time there. I appreciated the similarities in our personalities and your positive, high energy approach to life. You know I wish you nothing but the best for you and your new lady ...

I need a few days to put my head on straight, but will be sharing some photos and other random thoughts from my trip for those that might be interested.

OH ... and Thor ... did make it over to Bolero for a little bit ... one word ... "AMAZING"  ;D

USC,

Speaking of baseball the Yankees are only 3.5 away from Boston with 12 games to go. A-Rod now has 52 homers and 142 RBI's...lol

Hope you all the best and very glad for you.
