Anyone been to and or familar with Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan?

I am looking at possible vacation spots for 2008 and I was curious if anyone on this board has been to and is familiar with Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan?  I've done some google research and was also referred to another board member, who it turns out did not visit after all (thanks anyway for the referral Billy).

Bear, I going to get it right this time, I just remembered a member who actually lives in Bishkek. PM sensuality in this thread. I wonder if she's still on the dating sites or found her man yet?
