Looking for love and citizenship? You could apply to appear on a new reality game show called Who Wants to Marry a US Citizen?. The show, which has not yet found a network to air it but has signed up contestants for six episodes, invites US citizens to put questions to immigrants with temporary visas. They may then choose one to marry. The backers say they can’t guarantee marriage or legal status, but will pay for a wedding and honeymoon. “We’re out to play matchmaker,” the show’s host, Angelo Gonzales, says. “We want to make it a win-win situation for all involved.”

probably less than a quarter... we men do tend to puff ourselves up a bit.

I think if you start having such shows in American television , it will make USA tv even more unreal

All those win  green card show and so on , it is just unbelievable

Ah yes, American television dumbing down to the lowest common denominator. Pretty much tells what level of the food chain are those that watch it, and those that participate in the show.    I could imagine what went through the minds of the producers. I imagine they discussed how they could degrade marriage and immigrants all in one show!  I'm sure they will select immigrants which the American viewers can mock and laugh at. On top of it, they will use Mexican immigrants, which right now is a political hotbed. Nothing like creating a little more tension by portraying them as green card sucking people who will do anything to get in the country.
