New to FSU women discussion boards, never visited FSU.  Looks like there is some good info and discussion here, I look forward to learning from the more experienced old hands. 

45 yr old Caucasian male, USA, good paying (by my standards, anyway) gov't job.  Never married no kids.  In the past, exchanged about 15 emails with 2 or 3 ladies from Anastasiaweb, to no result.  Squandered money for a while on expensive pay-to-chat site hotrussianbrides.com.  Think of myself as a reasonably bright guy, so am now embarrassed over that foolishness.   Looking to profit from the collective wisdom of the experienced folks here.

Welcome!  There are some young men here who also have much to share. 

The broad appeal of RWD is that it is a large community with much information to share.  Not all advice is consistent, and that is good IMO because not all RW are the same nor are all the men who pursue them.

You seem like a big boy - not only admitting your past mistakes but learning from them.   Keep reading and keep asking questions as you progress.
