Marriage in embassy for Canadian citizen ?

Hello,

One of friend in France told me about his life, he married his wife (serbian, he is from Serbia too but with both citizenship, french and serbian) in french Embassy. Paperwork was a lot quicker because everything was done there.

Does someone know if the same strategy can apply for marriage between Canadian and Ukrainian , in Kiev Canadian embassy ?

We are starting at the best way now for us to make Anna and her son live in Canada the soonest possible after our marriage next september.

I doubt it. Remember that in Canada marriage licenses and other civil acts are a provincial responsibility, not a federal responsibility. As the Canadian Embassy is a federal institution, they would not have, to my knowledge, the power to grant a marriage license and a marriage certificate.
