Speaking of agncies, I'm also writing one at an agency.  Translation of letters, phone calls, video conferencing, flowers, gifts, yeah it adds up.  But at lestthey don't charge per letter, as it' one set monthly price for the correspondence, with unlimted letters between the two of us.

Feel free to pm me, if have any advice, questions, or anything else.

The mails from the girl, the one I mentioned first, is being routed through g mail in california, from this ip address, from a private lan unknown country, in neighborhood?

10.50.28.250  The other ip address on there 91.144.161.134 says Yoshkar-Ola.  Then it says under RBL, threat level o, last maliscious activity 8 days ago?  Any idea?

Okay, got a new letter from her today.  She said in this letter, that she has had 2 long term relationships, told me abouther exs and mentioned again about wanting to come to the us, if our meeting goes well.  It's the second time she has mentioned about wanting to get out of Russia.  Said she would never throw me and would like the meeting soon.  So, I quess we'll see.

This level of personal detail so early in correspondence is extraordinary IMO.  This woman perhaps has high hopes for you and wants to find someone she can trust.

Stop writing her so much and call her.  Read KenC's and Jet's T/R.  Note how quickly they moved to personal phone calls and the importance of those calls in building a relationship before meeting.

Everything seems good so far, except for the part that she would "never throw" you.  During intimacy I always looked forward to the exciting technique of being thrown, something unique to RW.

Just kidding!

I'm going to take this letter and to ask for hr number, as she did mention talking.  She said "I am not here to hurt you in any way."  Also she went on to say that she hopes to find in me what she seeks, and I find in her what I'm seeking for.
" I am interested in you and wish to talk with you and see what can come from this. I wish to give you much attention and to learn of you."  Then she went on to add some more personal things.  So, I agree, it looks good so far.  We'll see what happens when I start calling her.

I'm beginning to wonder about this one.  When I ask for her last name, she won't give it, just ignores the question, same with her phone number.  Today, she has talked about meeting.  She'll probably say she can get a visa.

This lady isn't from an agency, she's from a russian dating site.  cuteonly.  She wrote me, I wrote her back and she sent me her email.  Looks like the old visa scam.  Won't give me her details, but is talking of wanting to meet.

You still need to take it slow,  no matter how much time it will take you , you can not just fall at the feet of a girl who is ready to meet you after one letter, well that is just pure fun, still take it slow and with a deep sense

I think you finally need to meet someone decent though, just instead of talking here on the forum about the same things all over and over again , just buy a tour and go and see the place and meet this girl.

I noticed you have been posting here expressing attempts to find someone, and always you got some scammers or somebody , just maybe you are using some strange sites or what,  in any case do not rush yourself take it slow really , be carefull always

Phantom,
I hold the opposite view from Docetae.  Agencies act as screeners, though imperfect.  Respectable agencies have a reputation to uphold and allowing scammers to utilize there facilities brings them more grief than revenue.

Scammers generally will avoid agencies and try to make contact directly through dating sites..

If you want to correspond and have the time to spend, go ahead.  I used to do it as a game to see how long they took to hint at needing money (few come right out and ask).  The sincere ones can emerge over time, but you've got to start with a lot of material to sift.

If you want to meet a potential fiancee and you want her to be FSU, you could start looking in the States as there are now many who have already immigrated via green card lottery, work visas, or divorced from an abusive husband.  If that doesn't produce results, the buy a ticket to Kyiv, reserve an apartment and let one of the local reputable agencies arrange introductions for you.  Then you're on your own.  ;D
