Now, when I posted what had happened with me and a girl that I'd been corresponding with at Maksim Introductions, how the girl had found a man in her city and decided to end the correspondence, and stay with her RM, that was on the girl.  Maksims has been more than fare about the situation, as I did hear from the owner about the situation.  They do have good women on that site and very good services, IMO.  The managers are very halpful and courtious with the clients.  They offer a free trial to start, free meaning free, for a few weeks as you can send and receive letters at no cost to you.  They offer a lot of services.  You can't blame the agency when a girl do what she did.  Things happen at all the agencies even at home with AW.  They announce they met someone else and that was it.  I was treated fairly, during and after the fact.  So, I was not pointing to them as being a scam.  I'll be staying a client for now, just not going to make the same mistakes I made or wait to go over there, no matter where I meet the girl.  I just didn't want someone starting out or looking and considering them, to think they are a scam agency.  They have a good reputation.

Who is the owner now? I heard Maksim died a while back, but I understand they remain in business. However, there has been no response from them to numerous emails I've sent.

With Maksim, communicate only with women who speak English and require, if Maksim is so remorseful, that you get the woman's telephone number and talk to her directly.  If not, say goodbye.

The third time that you start your search, be sure to work with a reputable agency.  And read the 10 commandments again and again.

Didn't you say that you paid them $2,500 for their services? What did you get in return? Can you really say that you got your money's worth?

Also, what do you consider to be your mistakes? Do you really think that doing things differently with the same agency would have produced better results?

Well thats all nicey nice.  If you're happy, they're happy.     There is absolutely no reason in the world that you should not spend another $2500 with them on the NEXT girl whom you fancy and have never met.  Makes perfect sense to...you alone.  And the cutest thing is that you have a "manager" to hold your little hand.  Those "managers" sure know how to manage you quite well.

Hey here's one.  I got a letter at the Cindy agency today.  The lady speaks English.  But, I got the letter on April 4th and she was talking about Valentines Day, like it was now.  WTH?  That struck me as odd, she either needs to update er introduction letter or that was one major system glitch.

One month at bride.ru is $100. You get up to 900 contact info if you're motivated to request that much and it includes address, phone number, and personal email of nearly every lady. 900 at just over 11 cents a contact is a bargain and it'll keep you busy for a while and there's bound to be a "gem" out of that many women. Just make sure you're motivated and talented enough to find her.

-  Terp reads to UW over phone.
-  Terp takes a few notes.
-  Terp types response to you.
-  Terps receive less than $1 to write letter so they write quickly, hence mistakes.

Some women never examine the man's profile yet still show up for a meeting arranged by Cindy.  Then return later to the office complaining that Cindy never gets them a meeting with anyone other than losers.

Unsolicited letters?  I do not know who chooses the men, the UW or the terp.  I received several and all but a few were appropriate (not too young).


The Bride.ru is another way.  For $100 you could write 900 women and then drop the service after just one month.  Hopefully some of the 900 are interested in you.  Although you will likely communicate directly with RW, you will encounter agencies who placed the women's profiles and you will encounter scammers.

$100 at Cindy gets you four meetings with real women if you had never written one word.

Also, the Bride.ru, etc. route will take a longer time to develop a trip, plus the women who interest you could easily come from several different time zones.   

Take a trip soon.  Work with a local agency.  Perish the thought of writing more than 2-3 times.

Try luckylovers.net too ... 20$/month and unlimited contact. I have met my future wife with them... but honestly after reading this post, it seems you are not made for this kind of relation. In french, we call this behaviour to be a "pigeon"

Well, we have the same expression here, but I don't fit it.  Anyway, I will be checking venues.  It was not the agency, as they didn't force me into getting the girl things or try and talk me into it.  That, was my own idea.  When I joined, I was writing several there.  Then I decided to only write to this particular one.  Now, what happened was it lowered my rate for correspondence, as I was only writing to her.  But, I was the one that always sent little things to her.  That was where the cost came in.  Maksim has a good reputaion, when I was checking out agencies, that name kept coming up as one of the most reutable, like third on the list at most places.  Even the listing of sites on Elena's models, had it at number two.  I haven't been corresponding through there since the girl announced her descison.  I've had contact with the managers and owner.  I've learned from my mistake.  That estimate on the correspondence was a little high.  It was the gifts and flowers that I sent that got costly and something else I was taking care of.  I've gotten a few letters from ladies at other agencies.  Right now, I have something else going on, not related to this or RW, that I have to take care of, before I get back into this and I will be going.  I'll post the trip report.  Not going to write right anyone right now.  But, Maksim is a reputable agency, it was my own doing and the girl changing her mind.  Probably going to go the route of Elena's models.  Anyone wants to use Maksims, go ahead.  Just don't do my stupid stunt, before you meet the girl.  Remeber, it all looks good on paper or the pc screen and sounds good on the phone, even looks good on video.  Take my example and don't be stupid.
