The good thing is that the times are really changing. Here is the link to the Fox 45 from Baltimore, MD program on international marriages . Although Laily Mirro from Tahirih Justice Center, the author  of  IMBRA as an integral part of  VAWA is spitting her poison,  the whole spirit of the program has changed from what it used to be. There are no dead bodies of Anastasia King and whoever  else they have been  sensationalizing for years , but rather the portrait  of a  happy couple.
 
I can tell you that  I almost fell  off  the chair when Fox 45 approached me with the request of a happy couple's interview. I  thought that it was  a trap.

Even more compelling were the smiles on the part of the Ukrainian lady, and the giggles from her son as he rode the bicycle.

This was one of the most balanced media pieces I have seen to date. Thanks for posting.

This was a nice segment, probably the only one I've ever seen where the couple was treated with sensitivity and dignity.

One thing that seemed odd though is in the chain of events they seemed to suggest that the woman obtained a fiancee visa on her own and their first meeting was when she arrived in the US.

I had to laugh when she first saw his photos and commented, "he was in PINK t-shirt!" I had a similar reaction from my wife when I donned a pink oxford shirt one morning during our first meeting
