In all likelihood, it was Paul's voice they were hearing in Acts 9.. ;)

I have not had any doubts about it  ;)

According to some authorities, Chapter 9 should read the same as chapter 22 and was incorrectly translated.

and during the centuries they couldn't fix it   ;)

Why, because you always 'compare spiritual things with spiritual', i.e. one passage with another?.  :D
Why get a ball and chain when you can get the milk for free?

possum, because it is not so difficult to understand where the author narrates and where he cites.  :D

Here is another interesting fact  :)

Matthew wrote:

Chapter 16
21 From that time Jesus began to show to his disciples, that he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the ancients and scribes and chief priests, and be put to death, and the third day rise again.

But John wrote:
Chapter 20
8Then the other disciple, who reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; 9For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

I'm not religious (was not baptized), my friend came from the religious family, went to the church and to the special school, but as a teenager understood that it's not really his and now totally out of any religion. I have neutral attidute to gays (living in Holland it's the least you can have :D) though never had any gay friends and in general never dealt with them.

True, very few people actually understood the Messianic scriptures until after they were fulfilled.. Jesus had told them time and again what he was up to, but they couldn't understand a darn thing because of a thing called 'progressive revelation'.. :cluebat: <--- that's for Jesus' clueless disciples..

In horror movies you will know the people made a wrong decision, and that the only reason people act so stupid is to keep suspense in the plot.  ;)
