10 Year GC For Son
« on: December 31, 2008, 07:42:14 PM »
Almost a year after his mother's and considerably more expensive with multiple filings (and fees of course) due to USCIS ineptitude, ignorance, misinformation and blatant stupidity we finally got the approval letter for our son's 10 year GC.

We are now finally done with that "lovely" government institution for a little while at least...

Congrats Ken, lets hope that in 9 years things will be more easy.

Is your son now going to move out and become known as a GCK (Green Card Kid) ?  :D

I will second the congratulations Ken.  I think everyone looks forward to the day they no longer have to deal with the USCIS.   You have our best wishes for a wonderful new year.

Congrats, Ken!  I know that you are glad this struggle is FINALLY over with.

Now you will have more time for tossing the football with your son...or...ice fishing  ;D

Ken, I still maintain that BCIS should have bestowed the 10 year card gratis after all the
ghosts they forced you three to chase....  and extra fees to cough up. Can you feel the love?

It's about time!    Congratulations!

Congratulations Ken.  A boy who loves watermelon as much as he does should be given honorary American status upon arrival.

Thanks all!

I do think if he could find a way to do it he would divorce us sometimes and become that GCK! We sure did "feel the love" from them everytime they would tell us "Oops! Our fault. Pay again." Felt like I had a target painted on the back of my pants just for them...  >:(

Looks like Ded Moroz smiled on you this New Year, congrats to all three of you for managing not to "go postal" on them before the approval letter was issued. We feel your relief  ;)

Congratulations to you and your family Catzenmouse.

Shadow, GCK (Green Card Kid) sound like a new topic for RWD members.

Maybe Max has some opinion on this?  :D
