Kyiv, May 1, 2009 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Some 85% of Canada visas are issued in 24 hours and without any complications, Canadian General Governor Michaelle Jean has told Dzerkalo Tyzhnia weekly newspaper in an interview.


She said that the cancellation of the visa regime for the Canadians does not oblige Canada to do the same for Ukrainians, but this possibility still exists.

Jean also stressed the wish of the Canadian government to assist young Ukrainians in visiting Canada.

from my experience, this is more 85% of visa rejected at the Canadian embassy... so perhaps 85% of the 100% visa issued are done within a day..
