Hello. does RW/UW have a word for this?

 Kind of hard to get across what I am asking. I do realise that I have been "slipping" lately. Is there a word in Russian/Ukrainian language, or a saying, that pertains to the air that some men carry around with them. The best I can relay is "commands respect". Sort of the way a man acts, he is quiet but when he speaks people listen. This is the way I used to be at work, and I would immediately get peoples attention before I spoke.
 I say that I have been slipping because I changed and took a union job a few years ago. I do not notice these changes, but people i meet now do not react quite the same to me.
 Does this make any sense?
