Is marriage to a RW who speaks fluent English and Carrier oriented a risk?

I happen to agree w/your opinion, but this will cut zero ice with most RW I've known.

Many of your local competitors, RM, are willing to spend their last kopeks on a flower for their GF. How do you think you stack up next to that?

^IMO "strong"  IS protecting my family as well and not risking nest egg they worked their whole life for.


Remember...she will become part of your family. Anything less is an insult and she'd be right to dump you. She gets full status until she proves herself unworthy, that's the approach you have to take.

BTW, her speaking English is a HUGE plus. The language barrier can be devastating to a women who needs to be able to communicate her feelings on a regular basis.

Unless you are very lucky, you'll be crossing ladies off the list for a wide variety of reasons, and of course they will cross you off theirs as well. 

If a lady isn't what you are really looking for (or vice versa) then just move on, regardless of how much time and/or money you have sunk into that particular lady or time period. Wipe the slate clean and start again.

I agree that unless you are fluent in Russian, her being fluent in English is at least a huge plus if not an absolute must.  If she is career oriented, that can be a great thing if that is the type of woman you want.

Do you want a traditional stay at home soccer mom of a wife? then... ding ding ding... move on to the next.. you will not change her and she will resent you for trying to take away her freedom and ruining her life.  The reality of her exercising her choice to marry you or not doesn't really matter because her misery will be completely your fault and sooner or later she'll run off to join the Horde of Hens in the Abyss of Cluckatory. 

Being career oriented doesn't mean she's looking for a quick ticket to a green card or whatever.  It's simply a personality type, nothing more or less, with which you must ensure that you match for a team family unit.  Getting to know her without wearing blinders will go a long way in revealing any ulterior motives she possibly has.
