Maybe the wrong place to post this but figured if anyone knew it would be Russian Women.

I've been emailing fast and furious to a lovely woman in Odessa. I've been using an online translator (PROMT) and it's doing a horrible job.
We've already had a few hitches because of the cultural and language differences. We've both gotten a good laugh out of it (thank goodness she's patient)
She sent me this and the translator made it as:
To tomorrow.
The whole.

If I was to guess I would say it means HUG
Am I close??

I'd say it's pretty risky to entrust your happiness in such hands as PROMPT...       Why don't you get a regular hard-copy dictionary?     Or invest into Lingvo or something...

Yep, pretty much.    May sound a bit rude but it also can be that stupid "chat-talk-lingvo" when people try to shorten their sentences (and thoughts...)

I think that the term "you make me smile" doesn't come across that well.
I've not gotten a good response from that and don't know how to convey that what ever she said made me smile.
Twice I've gotten the feeling that she thinks I'm laughing at her.

As a man I'll try to add some background to help you understand these a little further.

До завтра is "until tomorrow" and a very common way to say "see ya later." It doesn't have to literally be tomorrow. In context however it could very well be literally tomorrow.

Саша is not her real name, it's a nickname for Александра (ah-leek-SAHN-drah). Do you know her full name: first-patronymic-family last name? Being that she is from Odessa, get it, google it along with her age, address and nickname. Just to make sure you're dealing with someone as sincere in reality as in her letters.

Your name is Джеймс. (Jim if you go by it, would be Джим.) Since there is no J in Russian they kinda, sorta, combine letters to get close. So they take a Д (deh) and a ж (zeh) and put them together to form a sound of dzeh which is as close as Russian comes to a J.
