Good News !!!!!!!

I return home from work this afternoon to find an email from INS that my I 129 petition has been approved and I should receive my notification letter shortly.

The time frame for this approval was approximately four months. I made the initial application on April 29.

Tatianna will be very happy in the morning when I call her with the good news.  I am hopeful that she will have her interview in Kiev by the end of October, although not sure how the time frames are running for her consulate interview.

I apologize for being MIA on this site since my return from our engagement meeting in Kiev and our trip back to Dneptroptvosk.   Lots of family issues going on where my sister and I had to move our father into assisted living. I ended up buying my parents house and was lucky enough to sell my townhouse in two weeks.

Anyhow, been busy remodeling the house for tatiannas arrival. She has been able to view the progress of the remodeling as I walk around the house with my laptop with the camera on.

HEY! Best wishes, Jake. Your K-1 approval was far faster than ours years ago - if things haven't changed too
much, your lady will eventually receive a "TO-DO" list with her embassy appointment date...

very good news, I am happy for you. Still waiting on mine. It has not been 4 months though so if your time frame is the same as mine it will probably be early November when I get mine.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. Yes, waiting is definately the hard part. My notification was exactly four months to the day that my application was recieved. (Vermont Service Center)

The forms all proceed to the next destination, where they should be forwarded to Kiev for the scheduled consulate interview. I was told to expect a four to six week time frame until the package arrives in Kiev.
