Thanks for your replies. My ex fiance is from a smaller city south of Moscow, about 13.5 hours over night from Kursky Station. I loved the city, I loved her family and I loved her and it was not a one trip over and let's get married baby.
I had everything ready to do the K1 and was ready to file it but my gut feeling told me to make one more visit before I did the deal with her. Before I went over for that trip I sent her an email and told her the things I wanted to see in Moscow. I got to see everything at a distance but GUM and the other mall near there. At that time I think I could have been a tour guide in both of them. I asked her about this the night before I flew back to Atlanta the next day. She didn't satisfy my mind so I ended it the next morning. She later moved to Moscow, lost her job and had to move back to her home and is having to live with one of her sisters. She sent me an email and asked me to come for another visit. I didn't go back.
The other girl in Moscow, my friend, I met on the plane flying back to Atlanta because we were sitting together. She is in the medical field and was being sent over for a seminar. She spoke almost fluent English and was a very pleasant lady. At that time I was 58 and she was 53, very beautiful lady of "sound mind". I gave her my phone number and email address and told her I would be glad to show her some of Atlanta and carry her out for a nice evening if she wished to do so. She gave m her cell number and email address and told me if I ever visited Moscow again she would be my tour guide and she would make sure I didn't go to the malls and we had a good laugh about it.
I did meet her in Atlanta and we had that nice evening out together with a lot of laughs. I also went back down and carried her to the airport when she had to fly back to Moscow.
We've stayed in touch on a regular basis and it's been only friendship conversations nothing ever being said about a relationship. She invited me over and I've accepted. She told me I was to stay with her because I only knew how to get to the malls and my A** would get lost and she would have to try and fine me and Moscow was a huge city. lol.
So, I'm going over this Spring when Moscow thaws and I can finally enjoy the city other than the malls.
I'm looking forward to the visit and she has told me a lot of places she would like to carry me and none of them had the word mall attached to it.
