Lucky, Naive, or Stupid?

Hey Everyone!  Brand spanking new here ... about 4 months ago I started thinking of using internet to find Eastern European / Russian ladies after developing taste from several students I dated in the US.  By the way, I’m in Florida, USA.

So, I joined some sites - Anastasia; Elena’s Models ; Fiancé ... I pretty quickly assessed these were generally a waste of time.  But this one site  -  This one fucking site www.russianlovematch.com  makes me wonder.  Obviously, it is a network site with some red flags.  But because of the Live CHAT/ Video feature, I do feel more like I have made a "connection" than being set–up. 

By the way ... I think that talking marriage before even having a date is putting the cart waaaay before the horse.  But these girls that I have spoken to, seem nice!?!?! 

Also, I don't seek a “dating handicap”.  I think that this aspect is the seed for the "SCAM" environment.  What would not work out in the long run, should not work out in the short run either.  But, hey, I admit I don't know what the hell I am talking about.

As long as I have an even playing field ... as long as the entire structure is not artificial ... I am up for it.  If I can't sweep a girl off of her feet, she probably is not the one for me.  I just don’t want to waste time!!!

I am at the beginning of understanding this and planning a trip.  I would really appreciate all the advice I can get.

I have no experience with the agency you're talking about, RLM. But others have and hardly anybody has anything good to say. They make it difficult and expensive for you to meet with the women. Try to get a woman's phone number! Good luck. Never visit a woman unless she allows you to talk to her on the phone. If she she really, really likes you, she'll give you her phone number. Did you read RLM's terms and conditions?

Keep in mind, if you're successful finding a woman, you'd probably stop pumping money into that video chat. For some companies, it's better if you remain single and unsuccessful. Remember, Las Vegas wasn't built with winners. Think about that and do lots of reading here to get educated in this endeavor.

Good comments jb. Speaking only for myself, I know I routinely look back and see evidence of my having been each of those (lucky, naive, AND stupid) at various times.

I wonder sometimes if stepping-out and boldly following this pursuit doesn't ALSO mean that you accept you WILL look back and see bits and pieces of all those characteristics. Comes with the territory.

You may find someone there but I think the odds are against you.  As far as the video chat goes it will suck the money out of you.  My experience with it is that the delays are so long your spending money on wasted bandwidth.  I would say try another agency.

I am also at russianlovematch, but currently, I have been holding on ONE credit left because I had many reservations about this site.  I like the video chat and have met some wonderful women, but the site WILL run your money dry and you can get personal info, but you have to go through their respective agency contacts and they want an additional $50-$70 to release personal info, etc.  I just don't know...I wish I never started there.  I most likely am going to leave and go to EM - MUCH MUCH more trustworthy, reliable, and cost-effective.  No video chat, but who cares?  It's ultimately going to come down to meeting women in person.  I have a thread that I started a few days ago under "SCAMMERS / SCAM AGENCIES" - "Hi, Everybody..." - where I mention my experiences with RLM, among others.  Check it out.  The people here had some great feedback, and I think it will help you as it did me.

You may be a beginner, Riveadco, but that's an All-Pro comment.  Lots of guys find girls that are mildly interested in them and go crazy over the girl.

And then they go insane when the  girl does not reciprocate.  Russian girls will let you know if they are interested in you.

Only consider a girl who is totally into you.   Or like you said,
you can sweep her off her feet and make her yours.

I would like to add to Michelangelo's thought.  The trick is, when she is into you, you will know it for certain.  If she is not into you, it will become very obvious as well.  The hard part is, when she has a slight interest and you fall first.  Don't fall for the dog & pony show! 

I think a perception problem is that in our culture, if a girl shows some interest in you, its because she's holding back.  In Russia it seems, unless she's obviously shy, she will treat you like you are the center of the universe while she is putting on her show, but not really connect with you.  It can be difficult the 1st time but now its easy to tell.

My problem: the girls I don't like after meeting pursue me like greyhounds after rabbits.  The girls I like maintain a distance and I run out of patience waiting for them to figure out what they want.  Next time I find a keeper I'll just pretend to not like her...

When I first went to RLM, I thought the chat was a nice feature also. All of a sudden 10 girls sent me a message wanting to chat. Hmmm. Most of the conversations did not do anything more than waste my money. VERY shortly thereafter, I just moved away. There are better sites.

You have some of each. RLM is a pay per view special at a buck per minute. They
went out of business these days. I think they have been replaced by only fans.
I dated several RLM girls, but it's like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer,
