Send a PM to Turboguy. He's been there with his Russian wife. I believe he even wrote a trip report about it.
Fund the audits, spread the word and educate people, write your politicians and other elected officials. Stay active in the fight to save our country. Over 220 generals and admirals say we are in a fight for our survival like no other time since 1776.

We went to Cairo a few years ago and there is a trip report here on our Egypt adventure.   I believe it is titled something like Turboguy and VWRW in the land of the pharohs.  If you do a search for "Land of the Pharohs" you should be able to pull it up.

I am not sure what questions you have but getting a RW or UW into Egypt is not a problem.  There is a small visa fee at the airport which is automatic.  No one gets turned away.

Egypt was very interesting.   You basically have two choices.  Going to see the historical part for which Cairo is a great location.  We were within walking distance of the Pyramids and the Sphinx.  The other choices are going for a seaside vacation and some others have done that but we went for the historical side.  If you pick Cairo, I loved our hotel and it was resonable.  I think we paid $ 106.00 a night.  Nice rooms, nice gardens with a patio out on them.  Good restaurants and a 10 minute walk from the historical parts.  Check out my TR and let me know what questions you have.

Hi , I went to Egypt this year with my wife. I am English and she is Ukrainian. When we arrived at Egypt airport, Shalm El Sheilk (spelling !!!) we bought 2 entry Visas for both of us for only $10 each. Dont pay the first guy you see, they want more money. Walk past and go to the bank office, it was I think half price and took 2 minutes. They stuck the visa in our passports and that was it - simple. I was using British passport and wife was using her International Ukrainian passport.
The trip was excellent as was the Hotel.

Went to Egypt Sharm El Sheik with my Ukrainian fiance in Feb 2010 it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!  Can not wait to go back.  Super inexpensive if flying from Ukraine.  No visa hasell's the people were nice.  We stayed at all inclusive resort and I was only American in the whole place again it was a GREAT experience. We bought tix through a travel agent she knows in Kherson $1,300 US 6 days 7 nights
In life my friend,  it is not what you have,  but what you believe.

We spent 11 days in Egypt, flying from Kiev to Hurgata. We took a trip down the Nile on a river boat and saw about a dozen or so monuments, pyrimids, etc. the last 4 days were at the Red Sea. The temperature was very hot!  The cost was reasonable and included just about everything. We had private cars, drivers and guides for just us.

I would recommend flying into Cairo for 3 days and than a cruise down the Nile for 4 days with some sight seeing and than 3-4 days at a seas side resort in Sharm or Hurguada.
