It's tax time!!

Tax time is here. Many of us will need to file the form W-7 not only to get an ITIN for the kids but we'll also have to send our returns to the same address as we do to apply fot the ITIN. IT's in Philly, Pa. I'm hoping that we can collectively share all info as needed. I filed for a number before taxes and they promptly turned me down because I gave them more info than they asked for. I fear they may scrutinze this next request even more.  My next step will be to talk to my congressman as a few gracious members here PM'd and advised me to do. Thank you Bruce and Clyde.

The easiest way (and I think the correct way) is to apply for the ITIN when you file your first tax return.  That's how I did it and it worked fine.
