RWD Contains The Best Knowledge Base for Men Seeking FSUW
« on: April 09, 2010, 03:57:24 PM »
If I was in the beginning stage, RWD is the place I would want to have available to me to learn the "ropes." The moderators, who give their available time, do a very good job IMO. I was recently a tad critical of them since I felt that debate wasn't allowed to continue far enough and curtailed what is stated in the Vision. Perhaps the definition of "civil behavior" holds the answer. But, this site provides a vast amount of information. I still read some things that I learn and I am in the cruising stage or the just being married stage. In addition, RWD provides the opinion of FSUW who are members and I believe their opinions are extremely valuable to the readers including me.

I also believe that men going this route need a strong disposition to not only survive the searching stage, the visiting stage, and the marriage stage, but, a man should be able to deal with his feelings on how others respond to the "route" he is using in this process. My process was almost the worst according to opinions. But, I didn't allow the opinions of "others" to stop what I felt was correct. Not one time did I doubt the process I took was wrong. Now, there may be times when a man is really going down the wrong road. Running that process through the opinions on this board could change a man's mind. Maybe that change of mind is good. But, a man should be confident in what he is doing and be able to support his process through his responses to those who disagree with him. Being afraid of responses from members is not a good way to go.

Quite frankly, this process can be a pain in the butt. It's not easy in the beginning and I don't believe it's easy after marriage, but it's been the best pain in the butt process for me. I would repeat the same process again. For a man in the beginning stage, not knowing the outcome, how is this site in answering your questions? Or you may just be a reader. If so, how is this site? If you search on-line for "Russian Women Forum", guess what site you find on the first page; It's RWD. This site is tops in information about this process and the best source of information.

WOW... what a great (and timely) post.  I think this is a perfect presentation of some of the questions we all have had or had to deal with.

Thank you Markus.  Well, now I thank you, but this may be an interesting thread to moderate.  Later I may say you owe me a beer!     ;D

This board is the only board on the internet that is about meeting Ukraine or Russian women.

The other board which I do spend more time on is more into business dealings, sex tourism, bragging about being married, etc. But little advise for the serious man or the smart man. More fun for the married man but little help for the man trying to get married.

Hey Markus,  I would certainly agree with you this site is a wealth of knowledge to the man seeking advice on how to meet a friend one has met in Russian and wishes to see if it is more.  The  info on this site was instrumental in making my flight to Siberia and back last month as easy as possible and leading to the engagement of the lady I went to meet.  I spent months on this site studying how to do get there and what do to make it as easy as possible.  At first I did even post asking for some help and was given a great deal of help the first time around.  But the second and third and I did not get so much help.  Now i have seen that maybe I was just a drive by as I saw or maybe as was just posted others saw me as one  one week wonder and felt I was crazy.  Either way it was a little disheartening as I was not being a drive by but more that I felt I was in the learning stages as I had not even been to Russia yet to even comment.  That also leads me to agree with you that you just have to do what you think is right and not let others dissuade you with talks of being a one week wonder which maybe they are trying to help, but I think that post is even harmful in a starting out forum.  I mean how many guys from the USA can really find the money let alone the time from work to be more than a one week wonder..certainly it is hard to be much more than a four week wonder without spending years doing it for most of us but the most fortunate.  So it was refreshing to see your post as I am now doing as you said, going down a path that others do not seem to like.  But as you I feel it is the correct path and that this girl has the best of intentions at heart and we spent over a year sorting through our feelings to even get to the point that I made the trip.  Like you as well, even though some others may have good intentions by using such terms I do not think it helps the intentions of this site and almost chased me off.  Its nice to see some others do understand this route and for two that feel love for each other it is the only path they have or not to pursue it at all.  Thanks for a great post!

I forgot to mention that this thread contains a poll. The folks that log in have probably already seen it. But, there is a poll at the top of this thread but a person must be logged in. The poll portion is what I"m interested in. I've added 3 selections since the initial questions were geared towards those who are learning. Now, I've included those who feel they are in the "experienced" category: kinda like this:

You are here, or

You are here.

Why do the experienced folks hang around? There must be a reason. For me, well, I'll need to vote.
