Can anyone unscramble this and translate into English?

I have tried various encoding schemes on my browser but can't get the cyrillic letters to display.

Not fluent here, but roughly....

"I even know (almost like, "in my opinion") you looked great when you were standing on Pushklin Street
opposite the student palace of academic law ..."

no no, the main point was that they KNOW that he/she/they were at pushkin street. Period. Only last sentence is that "you look good". Its cyrillic KOI8-R, for future reference

If you are adventurous enough to try an online translator, this is what Google Translate makes of it:

To translate correct, rearrange the first three words.

Thanks to all who responded.  The various translations offered were all similar and they made sense to me given what I knew about the picture I sent and the person who wrote the message to me.

Always strange how the messages to me show up with the garbage symbols, yet others seem to not have that problem.

And the available 'encoding' on my browser has many Cyrillic options, so how would one know to chose KOI8-R to try to unscramble?

Trial & Error . Try them all, one at a time, until you find one that works .

Alternatively, you could have your browser show the source code of the illegible page and check its HEAD section for some statement like:

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />

that'd tell you what specific encoding it uses - which is probably what the 'autodetect' option of the Cyrillic Translator does.
