That RW might well specifically not be looking for an american ,it isn't that unusual.
(but she did contact you, and trade skype info, so was open to it anyway)

First of all the main thing Russians hate about Americans is that they wish to portray Russia as a third-world country led by a mix between the Tsar and Stalin.
Fall for that and you will encounter problems, stay without bias and you will encounter a very different Russia.

If you would seriously put this text in your profile it gives the message you are looking for a woman who puts up sexy pictures. It would be a major turn-off for most sincere women.If a woman would not wat to be contacted by American men she could write it in her profile.

Tag is a prolific new poster who literally is thinking aloud as he wades into the RW endeavor.   Even though one would think that these many spontaneous posts would reveal something about the man, I have little idea about what Tag seeks in a RW. 

Based on his post to start this thread and some other clues, my guess is that he may be thinking of the RW endeavor as a meet meat market.  He would not be the first.

The nature likes to keep everything in a balanced condition. My guess is that for each man thinking of the RW endeavor as a meat market, there is a RW thinking of the western men endeavor as a transporting mule market. Each creature should have a suitable match.

So you're basically telling RW how to write their profiles.  You're not only language-intolerant but also pictures-intolerant and profile-intolerant.  

How about just passing those thong-clad women who hate Americans and focusing on those thong-clad women who don't hate Americans? (Assuming thong is a key parameter in your search).

What if I don’t want to get married? Is it all or nothing with RW? Couldn’t we just take things slowly, travel a little, get to know each other, maybe even live together first? Some of these profiles have really started to get to me. The other night I had this terrible nightmare.  All I can remember is being awakened by some stunning, and impossibly strong RW wearing an animal skin bikini grabbing me by my hair and dragging me back to her cave.  Her cave was awful and didn’t even have a wireless network. The horror!

Almost every profile has the word marriage burned into it like a brand from a cattle ranch.
Are there any RW who may want to have a “fling”, “an affair”, “a good time” or even be my partner on a great trip somewhere? Sure, all of the above could eventually lead to marriage, and if so, that’s fine, but for some reason I cannot help but feeling like a trout at the end of somebody’s fly rod who's getting ready to set the hook firmly in my mouth.

Why should I, or for that matter, a guy from the FSU be expected to bring more to the table than she does?  If it's entirely a question of what  I have  to offer, then we are coming dangerously close to "buying" these women.

So, let's see, I am 49 years of age, a scorpio, 5'-10", hazel eyes, dark brown hair, 162 pounds of shear terror, I own a design and construction firm, could probably afford Moscow at least once, I'm looking in the 30 to 38 year old range, but leaning more towards 35 or 36.  I would consider slightly younger depending on her maturity, but absolutley no younger than 28.

Tag - if this is bothering you ,you shouldn't look at profiles on marriage sites ,it's that simple .

look instead on  singles sites. or social networking sites.

if you enter this at a marriage agency website,looking for a sincere woman, but leading with the mentality that you are being caught ,or lead into something you aren't ready for ..
you are truly wasting your , and the womens time.
Your whole correspondence will have that 'vibe' to it, not a good way to start out.

RWD is certainly geared towards couples looking seriously for marraige,and the advice will be from that perspective.

There are agencies where the women really are into having fun.  Try Delphinia in Kiev as many of those girls are not into marrying foreigners but will casually date.  Ignore their profiles as they do not write them.
